Your guide was VERY clarifying. But, please, don't say you didn't do anything flashy in lane, you solo killed Zed after he used a single W, that was game knowledge, quick reasoning and mechanics too. Please make more videos on macro gaming and details on the lane phase agains some hard matchups!
I play this game for long time so for me it seems normal to do this. More view coming g for sure!

@LOL 101 I have a problem with the idea of these being challenger tactics. He is against a platinum ranked zed. He is not against someone who is actually skilled in the matchup also. Stev who is the zed has barely played zed even now. I’m not sure what a video like this does other than in my opinion gives help vs people who play zed for the first time that game basically.
Enjoyable video but I do want to note that your runes displayed do not match your runes on screen. You have a Commencing Stopwatch and gain biscuits throughout the game. Also, the MR rune is not good against Zed. The Zed also definitely feels very uncomfortable on the champion and is extremely afraid of trades. No aggression at all or any real mechanics. I doubt this guy is Diamond 2 or if he is, he definitely does not play Zed very often.
Upon checking Stev out, he is Platinum 1 currently and has only ever reached Diamond 5. That feels more like his elo if he is playing a very new champion.
On the whole the video is good for entertainment and I think the strategies are presented fine but there is a noticeable amount of misinformation here.

These video's are honestly helping me so much in my games, i dont play too often but one of my last games I pretty much carried the mid/late game (had a rlly bad start because i was Azir vs Yasuo and my jungle master yi gave yasuo 2 free kills and a red buff but these video's really helped my to understand what to do, so i ended up with a score of 12/4 with most damage of the game. Tysm for all the information im sure i will destroy a zed in the near future

I think what youre saying is really helpful especially due to you going in depth, however imo it would be interesting to see if your lane against a for example pro player would also work as simple as that

Well first of all i agree with extremely many things, the first being azir stomps zed in lane if played well.
Also the agression and hard poke.
And i used to love the electrocute too.
But i rarely build seekers, due to the fact that i am even more agressive and playing for excessive trading and even some earlygame kills.
I consider azir a hardcounter to zed, due to the advantage of being able to choose how the trades happen, between wavecontrol and range advantage, that i think a better sustain on mana and hard poke build with ludens rush will be even stronger.
But thats preference.
Btw i did an azir vs zed Explanation about 3 months ago which became my most succesful youtube video. I think there were quite a lot of parallels between our analysis,
Hello, Luden rush sounds really alpha and I see the idea as Nashor is not good in short fights and the poke+burst of Luden makes a lot of sense vs Assassins. However I would still go armguard because if Zed is really really good and flashes your R he can oneshot, but that is just preference I guess!
@@LOL101 In my guide i explained in how far zed cannot flash azirs r if timed well.
Since the azir r is slightly delayed u can time it so that it will instantly hit zed without him having time to flash after his r animation is finished.
Also if he flashes ur r you can in return flash into a spot away from his shadows and do a longrange dash away from him to avoid him having any chance to deal further dmg.
And last but not least:
Snowballing ur lead and going for a ludens echo will ensure a larger lv lead and the ability to all in zed urself.
U can just instant dash on him with the ludens prock electrocute and ( since i go more agressive in runes too, with sorcery scorch and transcendence second and cheap shot in domination) be able to oneshot zed urself
@@witnessazir5693 did not know about the flash, thanks ^^ I would still build armguard to be safe, it only delays your spike by few minutes, but let's you breathe easy. Also it's not like it does not give any damage. Matter of opinion

cause u know sometimes we dont have frontlines or tanks and even if we have tanks its hard for them to setup the teamfight and save their damage dealers so its all on you to save ur self and deal damage and try to safe ur allies to not get the enemy fed....
another question i have higher winrate on azir bot than azir mid so what is ur opinion about azir bot
Hi, teamfight awareness video will be released eventually! for now just most important thing is to understand yoiur role (flanker, assassin, frontline, peel, damage dealer)
from there you need to keep in mind your win condition and keep in mind enemy threats which is usually CC )alistar combo, Leona R)
Before they use theese tools that can threaten you, your objective is to bait them out and reliase when its the best time to pump out some serious dps

I know is kind of late, but just now I found your guides. Hail of Blades isn't better than Electrocute?
You use electrocute when you want to be full bursty, hail of blades when not so bursty, and lethal tempo when you know the fights will last long, so you can deal tones of dps. In terms of dmg: lethal tempo> blades > electrocute. for exemple you want to use electrocute vs zed and Lb, hail of blades works better against yasuo.
Interesting. I wonder what would be the optimal decision making/course of action vs a Zed that stays back and gets rly low cs, and all ins at lvl 3. Thoughts comrade? Zed passive plus eletrocute proc can burn through Shuriman armor quickly. Cheers and nice video.
Then it comes down to keeping your distance and dodging his combo. He is an early champ so need s to snowball!

Im from the Philippine server and in this server, the're so many players who play yasuo and most of them are kids
It was really annoying to play against a yasuo player because of his dash and his q also his dmg.

Who are azirs worst matchups? I’ve heard xerath and ziggs
in soloQ it would be Kassadin, no skill and you can't really ''outplay'' but it's winnable just annoying as hell
Qiyana has good pressure and roams a lot
LB with jungler is very annoying and very good Syndra too. But Azir has no unwinnable matchups, he can dodge the matchup with waveclear from distance and then outscale eventually most of the times so champions that roam a lot are great answer for Azir I think. This was really good and will be useful for 99% of people. But I want to ask you if this matchup goes differently in the highest levels of play since historically, zed was considered an azir counter, even febiven solokilled faker on azir. Ty
I think that at the highest levels, it gets even worse for Zed. (Azir gets more powerful with coordination unlike Zed)
When Febiven owned Faker, that was Zed at his peak powerlevel, which he isnt at anymore :(

I am main Velkoz and struggling with Zed, Yasuo, Fizz and Ekko. Do you think Azir would be a nice complement to Velkoz as 2nd champ for mid?
If you are strugling with those champs and with the fact that you are not gonna main him, play a lot of him, it will take too much time to learn him and he is not the best vs those champs as well unles you know how to handle them, if you like poke mages just try xerath or lux in my opinion.

Hello, i tried to pull out what i have learned in this guide vs a zed but my zed was very aggressive using WEQ on cd and i couldn't trade back because of this, what shuld i do if he loses farm just to push me out of the lane?
It should be hard for zed to trade with you if you stay behind cs and use max range, also you can E out of his WEQ combo

Zed is so hard to counter if you don’t know his mechanics ,however in higher ranks ,Zed is considered a very bad champion because of his limited role in combat and no CC

How to win with zed vs azir?
give up cs lvl 1 and 2, abuse lvl 3 powerspike with WEQ combo. If zed respects early, it becomes much more 50/50 totally skill dependant. Will Zed hit his WEQ? That's the most important part
Yes, as long as zed dun miss weq and all in with similar amount hp, even lose 2 30+cs early won't be much issue.

Are u maxing Q or W first?
Always Q, W dmg scales with levels so no need to get it early. Your Q has 15 sec rank 1 so it's very important to get it down. A lot of things you can learn from my Azir guide . Cheers

Got nerfed a lot recently, LT is the better option in raw damage. Lategame its up to 3K gold of stats. But there is some skill involved in playing with that, so considering it has 3x the pickrate and only 1% lower winrate than ConQ I believe it is better. But Conq on release was NUTS
