@@wladynosz1565 xerath montages aren't as cool to watch and play too u would probably agree that an 5man azir r and killing them is cooler than hitting ur skillshot and 3 ppl die .. ofc he can be played at a rally good level too making cool plays but i think it's not a reason to play xerath or u wanna play/learn him when u see a montage of him

@@penguinjesus8394 I think I played around 100 games before I went into ranked, but I've never played a lot of ranked to begin with... I'd say it depends on how fast you can turn optimal soldier placement into muscle memory.

13:30 definitely me, finally found someone that play the style I love. Remember back in the day in 2016 when I could play this champ 20 games in a row without getting bored. 2 items Nashor and Rylai then carry the game and kill them all. My god I love AS Azir, so smooth attacking with soldier, kite and melt down any tanky target. Farming with AS Azir feel even better, I could farm throughout the map letting my teamates despirately calling me for fight. It was the first time that I got Gold 1 without getting carry but carry the game by myself. Oh the good old day, they just nerfed Azir so hard, especially the range of skill and soldier in command. Could come back some day and play this champ again. Nice piece of video, keep going on...

I've been playing Azir for a while now and I have to say that while I knew a good bit of the guide, this was hilariously entertaining and informative on the parts I didn't know. Well done. 10/10, will absolutely post in my discord to share with my other friends.
I just sat through a 16 minute guide from a fucking GOLD player. But insults aside, this was a well made and entertaining video. You should be proud it. Your voice narration gives Daily Dose of Internet a run for his money. I hope anyone else who finds out that you are a Gold player at the end of the video (and are mad about it) can be appreciative of the effort you put into making this video.
that was a well made guide, but I would want to adress the trading in lane, q deals a bit more damage than auto attacks in the early game, however its cost are higher if we compare it to just attacking with w, many new azirs, or azirs who autopilot use w auto q, when they could go for 2 , sometimes 3 autos, which resultes in them running out of mana way too early. I'd recomment to use Q only at the end of a trade, or when the opponent moves away, and can't dash towards you, many assassins/ melees will try to bait your q, and attack you, when you can't reposition your Soldiers, so keep that in mind. I 100% agree, that poke Azir feels worse to play than DPS xD.
I do mention that you should try to get as many autos as possible in before q because the autos cant be cancelled, but it was probably not explained very well. Good point though, its very important. Im also glad you liled it!
dude. your DPS Azir tips was all I needed. being playing Azir ever since I started playing league, he was my first champion. and I moved over to other champs, to other lanes, but always came back to azir mid. new season, gave it another shot. 3 S ranks in one week, got my m7 after a better understanding of how to use my q and w. the last token I just got like 10min ago, hard carried the game and made the enemy team ff after I simply used e q R combo and got a triple with elder buff. TY SO MUCH, the least I can do is give you a sub, which I will do now. ty very much!!!

I haven't had the opportunity to play Azir bot but I AM a DPS Azir player so guess I'll try it sometime. That aside, very neat and concise guide for newer Azir players! For those just starting to pick up the champ, my take is that you should play the hell out of normal games with him and learn to play the matchups well. Azir is one of those champions where he still has a very decent chance of going 50/50 with his "counters", so practising laning phase matchups is very key.

Finally a guide that caches my attention and gets me hyped for a champion from the very start. I just typed azir guide after reading his lore and this is what i get? Sensational.
Nice guide, been playing azir whole last season mostly flex with friends still silver but now when I play azir and few months back when I play it is like completely different game, before I woukd be scared of likes of katarina or diana or any other assassin with lots of mobility, nowadays when I enter game with azir I feel powerful and confident with 99% of the things I do... However, positioning is the hardest part of azir like you mentioned better not help team if kha zix is going to jump on me over my soldiers wall, I win 80% of the lane match ups(not games) and these 20% is when enemy laner is really better then me or I have really bad game. In lane, if you out range them you can constantly poke and punish, if they out range me then I deffinetly do more damage over time for instance xerath match up, I am not afraid to come close to him and try to kite all his abilities or as much as possible because his combo is all he has but for azir its not, those same soldiers that started whole trading in lane are still there and still stabbing xerath for good few seconds after he threw his whole combo. Good guide all together ✌️✌️

played azir. Did really well. Played an amazing game, managed to do some insane engages, ults and dodges. ..... but my enemy was yone so he pressed r and I was dead.
Note to self as a dps azir (played since his release): 1-tear goddess 2- build nashors' 3-build zhonya or mr equivalent 4-rabadon 5-rylai or mana sceptre 6- dominate late game
Ngl I really like the nashors as a first buy. As of right now, I like going a lost chapter item first, but going nashors first spikes your damage soooo hard it feels great Also, ADC Azir is SOOO under rated. Besides, it's better than like 90% of actual ADC's anyways lmao
prob is ur support kinda needs to know how 2 play w azir cuz a thresh can't just go for a hook at lv1 after ya placed 2 soldiers n expect ya 2 follow up with anything other than shooting them w ur no damage dealing stick
i agree, also lost chapter has the passive where when you level up, you gain mana(idk the numbers, fuck math) but if you finish the mythic(ludens/liandrys) the passive disappears, so it will still be useful as an early game item
I just searched for exactly this type of video while first timing Azir as ADC, because troll picks with friends is fun and you play him BOT???? whaaaaat! Anyways, really good video, you have a cool accent.
I build Riftmaker with Azir due to sustain and damage output, I find it more useful. Edit: Plus I go Conqueror and Trascendence + Gathering Storm, so that means I do serious damage fron Min 20 onwards, it's basically a good build for scaling damage and sustain.
Thanks for the guide. He's one of my favorite champs but he seems gutted atm. Riot didn't give any love to him by forcing us to do something "troll" like rushing a Nashors, or build Nashors later and get a power spike way too late in the game.

I build Riftmaker with Azir due to sustain and damage output, I find it more useful.
Edit: Plus I go Conqueror and Trascendence + Gathering Storm, so that means I do serious damage fron Min 20 onwards, it's basically a good build for scaling damage and sustain.

Thanks for the guide. He's one of my favorite champs but he seems gutted atm. Riot didn't give any love to him by forcing us to do something "troll" like rushing a Nashors, or build Nashors later and get a power spike way too late in the game.
