Nah, Iniesta deserved the one in 2012-2013 he was the best player that season, Messi scored his 91 but Iniesta was more constant than him and he played amazing (and CR7 won it, like how tf) and in 2010 he was injured 75% of the season and sometimes when he played he wasn't at his best and Messi in 2010 was by far the best player that year on every aspect and Xavi was great but if u compare them he wasn't on Messi level.
They are so intelligent that their vision seems to be the same as watching us on TV!

I've been watching football for 30 years, but what made Xavi and Iniesta special is not only did they dominate, they also revolutionized the game with introducing the world to tikitaka. For 5 years nobody (except for Mou's Inter, and they needed a lot of luck) could figure them out. They made great teams look stupid (Fergie's ManU and Mou's Madrid). I remember them playing against Germany in the final of the EUROs in 2008 and it felt like Germany touched the ball 3 times in 90 minutes, it was crazy. And their influence lasted beyond their own careers, Jogi Löw copied the Spanish style when Germany won the WC in 2014 and Guardiola still attempts to recreate their magic with KDB, Foden and Bernardo. In terms of influence on the game of football Xavi and Iniesta are up there with Pele, Cruyff, Beckenbauer - they are as essential to the history of the game as those pioneers were.

Alone, they were both two legendary midfielders. There was that year where Messi won the Ballon D'or and 2nd and 3rd place were both Xavi and Iniesta. But on top of that, they were a duo! Them, with Lionel Messi in his prime, surrounded by other world class players. That Barca was ridiculous.
These 2 were exactly the same thing lol, they were like androids, one to play a little more up and the oother one to defend a lil more, and they could switch the roles . Never seen something like this ever.

I disagree Iniesta was/is more complete he was better in defense, in offense, he was far better at dribbling and he was faster, plus his passes and shots were amazing, he played well with his right and left foot. I think sometimes people don't actually see what Iniesta was capable of.

One aspect of their game that people dont talk about enough is their defensive contribution. Both of them were very good at pressing and positioning. Especially Xavi, he also had decent tackling.
