It did to me.The theme was Sleeping Beauties. Her gown, headdress, jewelry and nails were very much giving fairytale villain / Maleficent vibes. She was also a black rose that was teal before she changed into the black one. So, she ate 🔥

One time i watched an interview with Toni Braxton who forgot her co-star name. The movie was Twixt of Faith on Lifetime. These celebrities are something else. Toni even kissed the man at the end and she did not remember him.

How did this become about getting the nationality right vs knowing the designer's name! When I dont know how to pronounce someone's name which I know will then cause me to not remember the name altogether, I ask the person how it is spelled and then pronounce it a couple of times. And that's just for conversation purposes....

I feel like it’s so easy to criticize these people for forgetting some thing when we’re not in their shoes. Being that she has to perform by being asked 1 billion. Questions is hard enough. The main thing is that she gave credit to the designer. Especially, after she tagged the person after the event, knowing that she made a mistake. Not a lot of people would own up to that.

Not gonna lie. Due to stress and instability and lack of quality sleep over the last few years, I have trouble remembering basic words, let alone someone’s name. I will temporarily forget my coworker’s name. It’s not always intentional. Obviously in events like this it’s all about giving the designer a promotion by having their work displayed on fashion’s biggest night. Especially for a lesser known designer. But hopefully videos like this and the so-called outrage is giving the designer plenty of free publicity.
Filming and interviewing on the red carpet is stressful. You are crammed in there with all the other photographers. One time I had a senior moment and I couldn't recall the name of the person I was interviewing, so I addressed her as "darling". Another time, I was on autopilot and addressed the guest by the wrong name. Her name was so similar to another celebrity and people often get the two mixed up. I was just the umpteenth one to do it. She chewed me out on camera.
