South Africa is beautiful. We’ve recently moved to a small town called Komani(Queenstown) in the Eastern Cape- it’s an amazing small town, with a relaxed and country lifestyle with same big houses plus farm lands. Places like this can also be an option for AA that wanna be involved in agriculture and stuff
also being close to the Xhosa culture( Nelson Mandelas people), there’s a rich history and a humble resourceful people here. The community is also very diverse and integrated. Just sharing more options for you.
We also have a home in Johannesburg but a small town living is our best option. We love it out here.

South Africa has good quality of life especially in Gauteng. An average civil servant from American can live a life equivalent to a celebrity's in America but the issue always become assimilation to the new culture. White American & Western Europeans are owning lavish estates in SA and are considered average in their country, i think African American or Europeans can make the best of these opportunities.

You know what’s going on here? This type of service does exist in the states, but you have to be a multi multi millionaire to access it.. it is going to COST you. You’re priced out of this type of lifestyle, but it’s more accessible to middle class Americans because of the exchange rate, the affordability of SA itself, and the income we receive in dollars. That’s the difference.

There are options you may take either you hire a contractor to do the job for you from start to completion or you can get someone who knows those e.g. builder, tile, carpentry, electricians, plumber and so on.
