In this interview, I'm talking with television composer Edd Kalehoff. Edd's music has been woven into the fabric of American Television for over 50 years and he has composed everything from themes and incidental music for major franchises to all sorts of regional work. His work is ubiquitous.

This is so awesome! I've been a fan of Edd Kalehoff for most of my life and wish that I could buy albums of some of his various works.
Brilliant interview! I've long been a big fan of Edd's and got to see him perform once. I had heard about Edd doing Moog work for John Barry before. I had wondered if it was for On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever or the theme to The Persuaders.
Edd was responsible for the 1994 arrangement of "Family Feud", but it was originally written by Walt Levinsky.
I had forgotten about that commercial for Schaefer beer (playing the MOOG synth).
I keep on reading that Edd composed the ABC News theme. But I'm pretty sure that it was his boss at Score Productions, company founder Robert Israel, who composed it, although Edd worked on the updated theme.
On the other hand, I do know that Score didn't properly credit him for the Price is Right theme, so I could be wrong.
