The amount of emotion and intensity that this track can build in a 40-year-old man such as myself is a true testament to the power of music, and especially the power of music well-composed and music well-played. A big thank you to the artists, and a big thank you to whomever made this appear on CZcams and to whomever allows it to remain here.

WOW!! Edd Kalehoff did THIS version for Nick's DOUBLE DARE game show. Just for the record, SCORE PRODUCTIONS, the company he was with, did the original DOUBLE DARE theme, which was also used for the 1978 version of CARD SHARKS!!
Nostalgic. My childhood was awesome. I loved watching Double Dare, Nick Arcade, Guts, Wild And Crazy Kids, Get The Picture And Finders Keepers when I was little.
...in fact, he was ALSO the composer of the theme for the Goodson-Todman game show named "Double Dare," which aired on CBS in the 1970s and was hosted by Alex Trebek. (And as mentioned in some other comment, that music was re-used on the original NBC run of Card Sharks.) I believe he wrote that music as an employee of Score Productions. The Nickelodeon Double Dare theme was not Score Productions. Edd Kalehoff and Hal Hidey are the two names that, to me, are synonmous with game show music.
These two teams are trying to break eggs and are trying to fill up a huge bucket. Whoever gets past the line first will scramble the competition with $25 and control of the only game show who doesn't expect you to clean up after your own mess....SUPER SLOPPY DOUBLE DARE!!!!!! And now here's your host, the only guy in the world who doesn't own a mop, MARC SUMMERS!!!!!!!
These two teams are in the dark using Slinkies to fill a cup with slime. First team to pass the line gets $20 and control on the show where being a hyperactive nut could actually move you up in the world... DoubleDare!... Insert sound of beeps when a team passed the line. And now here's your blood, uh, slime-filled host; Mark Summers!
I get the impression that this isn't live as much as it is just Kalehoff vamping on piano and Bones guitar-syncing (air guitar with a real guitar, if that makes any sense) to the pre-recorded track. Still kind of cool, though.
you're right about Edd but Jimmy is actuality playing, they just have the guitar turned down. they fix the volume and they do the same performance at the end of the event and it sounds better and different in that instance.
