    Nice, usually when i do this i use a Q-tip to have some more control and then if youd like you can make lines or any other designs if you want.

    I like it 👍. I definitely learned something and I’m going to try your technique. Two observations I made, hope you dont mind…. I think you tinkered with the dabbing too much. You had a nice pattern and then kept smearing it. Also, when you switch to the other side of the blade, grab a fresh napkin. It’s soggy by then and you lost some texture. Maybe a coarse sponge would be work well too?

    Just curious here, about your grind on this knife. What is the included angle? Maybe 60 degrees or less? This knife looks like it is meant to chop nails in half. I don't get it's purpose.

    That's a nice knife.thick spine too.great job.was the steel hard to with making the blade?

    How long does the patina last. Does it rub off?
