But you can’t play cover 2 consistently in this league anymore like they did anymore - even Bowles is dialing up crazy blitzes most games. Chiefs though were always vulnerable when you prevent the big play since their oline was trash all year.

Cherry was really good but they didn't play the same position or in the same era. Cherry was a free safety and Lynch was a strong safety. It is hard to compare the two.
