  • Sailing in France is incredible. The Brittany coast is some of the most spectacular sailing in the world and you have the added intrigue of huge tides, wonderful wild-flowers, high cliffs, cliff-side trail walks and more. Our summer of exploration officially begins as we leave the town of Quiberon and head into the Gulf of Morbihan, a tidal body of water that is protected by far-reaching spits of land that nearly enclose this collection of islands and cruising grounds. This gulf is referred to as La Petite Mer - the little sea and it is approximately 5 km wide and 21 km long. This is part of the Brittany area of France and we are so happy we decided to spend a good amount of time here. Our next episode picks up where this one leaves off so be sure to check that out as well.
