- I have a grocery haul. First (a while back) we went to Piggly Wiggly and Walmart. Even though Walmart is under construction we still found groceries, household supplies and clothing for $1. Then a couple of weeks later we go to Aldi and Walmart for a pretty big grocery shopping trip. Walmart is still under construction, but we were able to get in and out pretty quickly as we only needed 5 items.

I went to our WM yesterday and the parking lot was torn up and being resurfaced! I had to park at Sam's and walk a block, but apparently that convinced some shoppers to go elsewhere! It was empty!
Ok, "a horse apiece?" That's a new one on me! I'm sure it means, "Six to one, half dozen to the other," but it must have an interesting origin!

Joe is so stinking cute about his graham crackers đđ Our family has been really into taking can fruit (only in fruit juice not syrups) and putting it on the dehydrator and pulling it off just a couple hours early where it has the texture of like gummies.. but its just canned fruit.. pineapple is by far the favorite đđ

Once I got once a month going and figured out it saved tons of money and time. Menu planning is the key! Beans or soup and corn bread . Sub sandwiches once a week and left overs 2x .That takes care of four nights.

đ Our Walmart just got done with their remodel. They eliminated their jewelry department and expanded their grocery line. I don't shop there often, but noticed their grocery aisles are now wider and much easier to maneuver through when there are lots of shoppers.

The lime chili marinated chicken kabobs are delicious at Aldi.
We went through the store remodel experience a year ago in our local big store, so I sympathize with your Walmart experience! They actually had to have employees stationed around the store to help people find things, because stuff would move around so often that nothing was where it was last time you were there. Now that the remodel is over, all is well, but it was hard shopping there during the process!
Thatâs exactly whatâs happening here. One night an employee told 3 people in a row where the peanut butter was.

9:23 Amazon has those pans for the Blackstone, cheap. They are also cheap at Walmart in the Grill section.
I read that many store brands are made in the same factory as the name brand so itâs the same just with a different label
I don't personally care for grocery hauls. if I watch them, it is just to support a favorite channel. I much prefer cooking, day in the life, some of the cranberry farming, etc.
Halloumi cheese is delicious. We eat it for breakfast, fried up with eggs.

You looked at swimsuits at Walmart wanted to tell you my fav style by far, one piece racerback. Prefer the lower back filled in as opposed to the big cutout circle. This style stays on best while diving too. My fav brands are Catalina & Jantzen. Speedo makes good one, runs really small. I prefer your lighthearted comments, we all have our own problems. I love too see your grocery hauls. You have so mutch fun things in the US that we in Sweden dosent have. We have arouns 650 dollars in budget in my familie of 5 and its so hard to keep that cuz its so expensive here in Sweden now. Love from Lisaâ€

Birch benders arenât bad but Scottyâs is the best. Iâve been doing low carb for 3 years and Iâve tried them all but Scottyâs is the best!

Try air frying those halloumi cheese sticks. So good. Might be even better dipped in some low carb marinara.
Our Wal-Mart in Owatonna, Minnesota is going through the SAME thing. It's very frustrating to shop at. Ours also has a smaller selection of things in stock because of it (especially in the household things and clothing departments. ) But hopefully in the end it will make for a better shopping experience in our store.

Window cleaner is just alcohol ammonia and dish soap with lots of water or vinegar soap and water
We called them skirt shorts kulots not sure if that is spelled right or skorts
Oh yeah, kulots were my favorite in grade school.
I love the cute dresses that you and Maria got for a $1 and I really love the shorts with the little daisy print, I wish they came in women sizes. So cute. Could you possibly cut off some of her long pants that she may have outgrown by length for some of the shorts for camp so that they would be the correct length? Love your hauls.
I hadn't been to the store in about a month and was shocked at how the prices continue to climb. Just when you think prices are at a ridiculous high and they can't possibly go any higher, they do. We've had to omit several things from the shopping list.

The Walmart we use for bulk products just did the big overhaul this spring. It was indeed utter chaos, and my last stop of the trip. I was exhausted and I gave up and bought the few items I needed elsewhere. I really dislike the reset and the new register situation is ridiculous!
They are starting to get the new register situation in place and it does look like a pain.

Love your grocery hauls... especially when you think it's for a month. Lots of stuff. I'm not sure that Crav'n is a strictly Aldi brand... I've seen it in a lot of other chain grocery stores. If it were just an Aldi brand you wouldn't be able to buy it from a different chain store right? Just wondering. Halloumi or haloumi is a cheese that originated from Cyprus. It is made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, and sometimes also cow's milk. Its texture is described as squeaky. It has a high melting point and so can easily be fried or grilled, a property that makes it a popular meat substitute. (Copied from Wiki... not sure if that's allowed... but very informative.) A1 and worcestershire sauce have so much flavor going on... and I feel like they are totally neglected as a seasoning in cooking. Everything but the kitchen sink in my opinion... but also need to use in moderation because they ARE so full of flavor you don't want to overpower the flavors in whatever it is you are creating. Lovely condiments for sure. Again... love the hauls... you do whatever you're comfortable doing. We're here for it.

I donât wash them. I just scrape them until the foil is thin which is about 4 months for one tin.

Since when did you have to start serving a meal at a bridal shower. I have had 3 nieces to get married recently. One in 2022, 2023 and one this November as well as 2 of my sons as well as numerous other family members and friends and I have never had anything other than finger foods or appetizers served at a bridal shower unless itâs a bbq couple event in honor of the couple.
I donât think thereâs any requirements; itâs whatever the host wants to serve.
