On your little table, you might try spraying it with a clear matte spray. I have done that to dull furniture down and it works pretty well. Love, love your bibles, thank you for saving them, so many people would just throw them away.

I like the print your daughter picked out. The Terra cotta pots are a nice addition for color in the print. I’d leave the magnifying glass in its present state. Dents and all. More authentic the way it is. And, the Armoire - oh my 😻

I'm so happy you saved those Bibles. That's Wonderful. My Husband collects old Bibles too, and has one from 1876. His Grandmother's Bible is here, it's from 1917.
We can't let an old Bible be destroyed. One of the Bibles has fallen apart, but we put it back together the best we can, and store it in my Husband's office.

I would suggest you look at a few Sherlock Holmes clips to get an idea of what your daughter is looking for. The apples seem very bright. Just run stuff by her 1st. She apparently has her own ideas. It will be terrific!!❤
She does have her own ideas. It seems Harry Potter is good inspiration for the Dark Academia style and she loves Harry Potter. I think we will work it out together. We work well together. She is a good kid (ha ha, kid at 27) Hugs.

Dark academia is gothic inspired. If Kaitlin, I apologize because I don’t know how she spells her name, is going to have a designated library, shop on government auction websites in your area. Oftentimes they have old oak and glass legal bookcases and other types. You might find something cool, might not. Depends on the day. Keep looking. Sometimes these things go for a lot of money, sometimes nothing. Good luck.
