Hey again! You babble and I ramble....we make a great pair.😂 You were just excited about sharing your items and your plans for them. Like I've told you before,you have vision. I look at an item and think...it's a suitcase and it must always be a suitcase. You opened the one tonight and saw at least three different ways to use it. I love the idea of putting books in it. It was difficult to pick a favorite, but I think it was the suitcase. It was good to see Valerie again...and the top of Louis' head.!!! My favorite is the woven candle stick holders. I wouldn't paint them at all. They would be perfect in Spring with a pastel candles in it, and in the Fall with some orange candles or rust color one. T brass bell is perfect as it is. Most people love that look. If it doesn't sell you could clean it then. In the suit case ,put the bell, the books, and a real pretty fat candle...Theme Bell, Book, and Candle. You got lots of really nice items for your new booth. I am so excited and happy for you. Yep, almost everyone said to leave the candle stick holders alone so that is exactly what I am doing. Fingers crossed for the new space. I'll keep everyone posted. Hugs.

I would leave the candle holders dark and if they don't sell, then lighten them up. Your new space is going to look great. I love the big tub!

Joanne, on the candle stick holder that’s missing the metal insert you might find a canning jar insert the same size,just flip it over and cut a hole in the middle. Can’t wait to see your new booth all filled up.

This is Grandma from Texas. I have my silver plate casserole dish holder in my kitchen with all my cook books I’ve collected throughout the years corralled in it. It really is lovely. It used to be in my library with some special books in it. In any case I think it is a great idea for staging. 😉 gardening books would be very nice.

Please do. I heard that one of the 'trends' for home decorating this year is bringing the outside in. But I almost always tried to do that in my home. Same idea can be used in a vintage booth, right? Hugs.

Hi Joanne as far as the brass bell goes I would definitely clean it up. I bet it going to look stunning once you do. As for the candle holders I would leave them as they are and not paint them. I would leave it up to the buyer if they want to paint them and after awhile if they don't sell then I would paint them. Congratulations my friend on you're new space and best of luck to you. Ps oh my gosh I all most forgot to tell you my favorite item(s) was in this haul it was the 2 candle holders that you also liked so freaking cool they where

Mine was the suitcase. When I saw it, I thought of a traveler, maybe a pair of gloves drapped in it. See if you can find tops w/o holes at a hardware store 🤔for the beautiful candle sticks.

Joanne I think they are going to end up asking you for advice on staging😊 The pieces you are curating for the new booth are very cohesive and will look beautiful. I definitely would leave the candle sticks as they are and not paint them. The really large candlesticks could be used as plant stands for the smaller pots you bought. It's going to be fantastic and I can't wait to see the finished booth❤😊

Lots of great items, Joanne, but my favorite would be the suitcase. Love your idea for staging it also. BTW, before you throw away that second pillow cover because of some stains on it, put it in the sink with hot water and Oxy Clean powder (about one scoop) and let it soak over night. You will be surprised and how good that product works on stains. Just rinse it well in the morning and check to see if the stains did come out. Thanks for sharing, have a Blessed day.

I loved the wire planter with the lily of the valley plant pots and the small suitcase would look great with travel books or postcards displayed in it maybe a pair of vintage gloves draped over it.I can't wait to see your booth when it is fully set up.another great video thanks T

Though, to be honest, everything strikes my fancy. Mid you on second thoughts, the candle sticks are lovely. Here’s from Australia.

Congrats on the new booth! My favorites are the small suitcase and the wooden candlesticks carved twist centers. Also, I think the 3 graduated candlesticks you should leave them as is for now, and if they don't sell, then decorate them differently.

I don't know that I have ever seen faux lily of the valley flowers either. I added some Spanish moss to the pots and they look even better now. Valerie sends hugs.

They are always a sweet surprise in the Spring, and smell heavenly♥️ The pillow inserts are a nice pick up; $.99 can’t be beat ! Easy to switch covers for the season, and they’ll add a nice touch of color, as well🥰

Hi Jo, I have tall candlestick with a deep candle base, that a put a hinged plate holder in to hold my phone. Sits up to my recliner. Hands free!

Wonderful items for your new vintage space! I’d be concerned about painting the tiki torches because of the proximity of the flame to potentially flammable paint. Your idea of having a garden area is really good, especially with Spring on the (still kind of faraway) horizon. I’m excited to see how you develop and stage your new space! Hugs! Don’t paint those candlesticks. Let the buyer choose his/her own color. They are very easy to paint. The we-den twisted candle holders are very cool. My guess is they originally sold for a significant amount.

Valerie is a very good girl. Sweet and loving. She took over Mir's place loving boxes and such when I lost Mir. Now whenever I put a box or anything like it down where she can get it, she jumps right in. Hugs.
