Kennedy's accent is hard enough for someone not from Martha's Vineyard, let alone an Irishman! Your respectful treatment of the subject matter covered, and it's obvious you practice your regional accents beforehand.
Comparing this to the rapidly narrated old version, I just LOVE to see how far your channel has come.
And I'm happy the charming Irish accent has remained
Couple of slight corrections/details-
A critical detail is that cuba wasn't so much an ally of the us as it was a puppet state.
Batista was a dictator they had installed to control the country and like most of their puppets, was widely hated, the cuban revolution was especially a revolution against him.
Also the US pledging to 'leave cuba alone' yeaah, my ass, the CIA attempted over 650 assassinations of castro, every single one of which failed, some of the especially desperate ones were hilarious, like planting a bomb in a seashell and hoping he'd pick it up, poisoning his milkshakes, and giving money to the US mafia to kill him, but they just ghosted the CIA.
Also Khrushchev having the idea to put missiles in Cuba was inspired by the American idea of puttin Missiles in (I think Turkey)
