  • @theartificialsociety3373

It does not matter whether these substances are natural. Whenever a natural substance is concentrated or what was a food is processed to isolated components, then it becomes damaging or poisonous. Always ear real whole foods when possible. White rice, white pasta is mostly the original food so it's not bad if part of a diet rich in vegetables.

This is also why i don't support meat, cuz we use antibiotics on em so much we make em resistant so quick that we don't have enough time to develope new ones.

Ah yes, the all important war on artificial flavors. They are like GMOs, most of them are harmless and it is very vague. People want things all natural, but what we define as natural can be widen to mean a lot.
Carnauba Wax, which comes from Copernicia prunifera a palm in Brazil. It's used in automotive products, cosmetics and is listed as fatty acid esters, fatty alcohols, acids and hydrocarbons, esterified fatty diols, methoxylated or hydroxylated cinnamic acid, and hydroxylated fatty acids.
Carnauba wax can also be found on your SKITTLEs. Yes this product, which is found in those other industries is in your food. Doesn't that make it sound like a bad, poisonous thing.
However things like Corn and Beeswax always sound natural, and healthy. "All Natural" products like Burt's Bees make it sound like they are selling you something good. When really beeswax is just as toxic as carnauba wax. Corn can be used in things other than food, that are unhealthy to consume, like fuel for cars.
So while you wouldn't open up a jar of carnauba car wax and start eating it, "artificial flavors" aren't all bad.
Next time you're reading a health article on the effects of a chemical you cannot pronounce, just try and find their origin. Not all artificial things are bad for you, and not all natural things are good for you.

  • @roshifugai8113
