If Loki returns,it will be for maybe 1 or 2 appearances. One for an Avengers movie,and the other for an encounter with Thor,a closure.
Remember when in avengers endgame...at the end when the big fight was happening...and all the marvel characters started coming through those travel rings ...the movies theater went crazy nuts in celebration... when ever Loki returns it's gonna be like that
That would be great. But I don't see that happening because a lot of people only watch the movies but not the Disney plus series, and Marvel knows it. So they make sure the movies can be watched without the need of knowing things people can only learn by watching the series. If Loki from the series suddenly appeared from a portal, many people in the cinema would be like: "Wtf is he doing there? He's been killed by Thanos years ago!"

Loki was always my favorite MCU character, show, villian, etc. So I'm super happy that he got the ultimate redemption arc. I don't know if Tom has a future in the MCU, but I hope he does. He was on Jimmy Kimmel and basically said he and Loki are done in the MCU. I hope he was just reflecting on the last 14 years, and wasn't confirming he's done.

The Loki series is game changing for Marvel. This story has some of the best writing I've ever seen from Marvel. Loki creating Yggdrasil is a twist I honestly didn't see coming. This made me even more excited for the upcoming projects. Go see The Marvels if you haven't already.

The Season finale of Loki season 2 paved the way for what's going to happen in the Multiverse Saga since Loki now guards the Multiverse Tree. It will set up Deadpool 3, the New Avengers, and Secret Wars.

I loved the little “616-adjacent” reference when I first watched the episode.
Things like this, these amazing little canon details and Easter eggs, the amazing writing, and the cinematography needs to be the future MCU standard.

That's one of my biggest questions after loki season 2 is how will it tie into Deadpool 3? I think potentially with loki saving the tva maybe now that there aware of the variants of Kang coming from different timelines so they most likely wanna form a Multiversal team of different variants of heros. So that's how it ties into Deadpool 3 because moboius seeks the help of wolverine and Deadpool.

But what happened BEFORE THE ISOLATION is the MV existed, there was multiverse war with Kangs and then HWR ISOLATED our timeline.
That means, the multiverse is all out there,
Ther QR connects multiversially,
And the Kangs we saw there are outside in the mv the whole time.
Loki didn’t CREATE A NEW TIMELINE, NOR DID HWR, HE ISOLATED. Means everything around it is like always, full of Kangs dude.

Loki series didn’t create Kangs or whatever, since it’s yes, outside the isolated timeline if you will, but the TVA just controlled the sacred timeline, meaning everything they do when timeslip or whenever we saw them outside of the TVA it’s inside the timeline.
Meaning is, TVA is outside placed to the sacred timeline, but not outside the time of the whole mv.
Meaning the Kangs do their thangs while Loki affects just the sacred timeline.
And basically he just reconnected us to the greater MV, back into it’s more natural state of branching and what not

I don't see anyone talking about the fact that that's not the Loki that made peace with Thor. The way i see it that's a bit of a loose end that can be explored later on.

The sacred timeline was still a multiverse with timelines roped together, just without the other Kangs and no branching as that could lead to another kang variant emerging or being born: HWR feared that.
This new multiverse allows each constituent universe to branch. That’s the difference. That’s why the Kangs are already out there
The Sacred Timeline was never the Multiverse, it has always been Earth-616 isolated from the other Universes.

*Tom Hiddleston’s Dedication and Passion to Marvel and Loki*
- He read all the comics as he was growing up.
- He watched the movies since the beginning and loved them.
- He held multi-day long ‘Loki’ & ‘Marvel’ lectures for the entire cast and crew even going to Owen’s house several days in a row to help him prepare for his role as ‘Mobius.’
- He learnt Norwegian and sang in it as well as study Norse lore to prepare for his role in the first Thor movie.
- He asked the composer, Natalie Holt to put certain music tracks into particular scenes.
- He was made ‘special executive producer’ since he has such passion and knowledge of Marvel!

So according to days of thought and watching videos (including yours which is the best haha), this is how the MCU history all goes down (according to my theory):
● Multiverse exists as universes stacked, Kangs meet, Multiverse begins dying thru Kang usage, Conquerer starts War, Conqueror exiled to 616 realm, HWR uses alioth to defeat Kangs and isolate 616 completely.
● HWR makes 616 a loop where no one challenges him, puts branch timeline variant Victor Timely inside sacred timeline just in case he needs him, creates TVA and Void (both outside of time) to help him keep order, wipes TVA minds and makes Time Keeper story as he chills in Citadel (also outside of time).
● MCU events happen up to Loki
● HWR gets tired, decides Lokis are fit replacement, paves the way for both variants Loki and Sylvie (needed both to get through Alioth and to form connections). Sylvie kills him instead (releasing many branch timelines), but HWR prepared for this (by arranging Loki's time slipping thru his own tempad, by giving Loki onnections with TVA heroes, and by allowing Loki to understand the science through Victor Timely presence by using Renslayer and Miss Minutes as pawns). That preparation is to Force Loki to learn HWR has to live (if not loom overloads, destroys TVA, slowly kills branched timelines through spaghettification, which means 616 will spread to the multiverse afterwards and Kangs will destroy everything with multiversal war).
● So HWR is confident Loki will kill Sylvie to keep 616 intact (through himself) as Loki rules. However, Loki chooses option C, not killing Sylvie to permanently end HWR and deactivating loom before it overloads (saving TVA). He sacrifices himself (being alone in the Ciatdel) to give life to the branched timelines (die without the loom) to allow 616 universe to have free will (Yggsdrasil shape where main timeline is the "trunk" and branches are the "leaves") deciding to take their chances in second multiversal war against various Kangs within 616 timelines and from other universes which the TVA are defending against (except Renslayer who likely got killed by Alioth and VT who lived in the main 616 timeline peacefuly).
● Rest of MCU happens with new changes such as multiversal beings coming into 616 (NWH), ability of traveling to other universes (MOM), and Conquerer defeated in 616 realm (Quantumania). Also, the Kang Council meets outside of time in the connection between 616 branches (the leaves of Yggsdrasil) and their own universes to discuss their next moves against the 616 heroes (likely oblivious of the TVA and vice versa). Loki God of Stories will very likely play a big part in the upcoming MCU projects now.
Can't wait to see what comes next ! As the custodian of the multiverse
