Thanks for watching, my name's Phil and I'm a former gambling addict. I make videos to share my experiences of gambling and talk about my recovery, abstinence and the challenges of quitting gambling. I spend time watching You Tube Slot channels, and my husband thinks I should not watch them, and I know that they only make me want to go try their “ strategy “ or just play slots period specifically Dragon Link and Lighting Link. Phil, I'd be interested to know how much of this sort of behaviour you'd attribute to peoples' personal feelings of exceptionalism. Kinda like the cliche of a person smoking a few cigarettes and saying to themselves: "Well, I'm not going to get addicted..."? Do you think a lot of gamblers have this view of themselves as somehow exceptional and therefore - like the guy in your story - able to convince themselves that they have some sort of freak advantage which will set them apart from all the countless gambling casualties?
