Hello mate no offence to your system but there was a reason you stopped gambling . I get it believe it.But lately I'm on a winning streak.firstly choose 10 numbers put 5p on each of your numbers in sequence from numbers 0!9 then start back at zero and finish at nine and repeat this all the way up to a tenner on each number if in sequence when you press and don't get the green reduce all numbers down by 5p which should make every number you have down by just 5p and reduce until you get win spin. Thank you for your honesty and i wish you well on the road to recovery. I am a compulsive gambler also .For me gambling became a coping mechanism way back in my late teens and early 20s. I am not a trained psychotherapist nor do I have any qualifications in addiction therapy, but I'm going to stick my neck out and say compulsive gambling in a lot of cases can be associated with some traumatic experience that the individual has or is experiencing.Whilst studies have indicated that dopamine levels increases during gambling , i also believe that the act of compulsive gambling can be a form of unresolved anger. (Compulsive) Im sure most of us are aware that many people suffering from any addiction has experienced some kind of trauma weather is be recent or childhood. Trauma is a result of stressful and frightening experiences and are completely out of our controle so whilst many people may think they haven't really had a traumatic life their brains sub conscious are telling them otherwise .Stress can also play a major role in addiction , people simply look for escapism in the form of gambling, alcohol ,drugs , food , sex etc.We escape the reality around us and use the addiction to cope. Self sabotaging and addiction also go hand in hand .Actually the more you gamble ,drink , do drugs you are intentionally setting out to hurt yourself because of those negative experiences.Throughout all this people are left feeling vunerable, empty and alone and as you mentioned time keeps ticking by so much so then one day we realise that the world has almost passed us by, but there is still time to get help and make the changes this gentleman has done .

I lost all my money and everything as well. On my most recent losing spree I told a family member, help me and she went and put me on the gamblers list for a year. It’s been 20 days and since I can’t gamble I don’t! In my state you can sit on the toilet and gamble. It’s horrible

Yeah my dad wasted his life because he was gambling. He was losing his monthly salaries all the time and was laying to my mom that his boss didn't pay him up. It has a massive impact on everyone in the family. Terrible addiction on the same level as alcoholism.

Hey Phil - recently discovered your channel. Gambling has never really been an issue for me, yes i've lost some big amounts at times, but it's never taken a hold of my mind ie can't remember the last time i gambled. However, drinking has been an issue, but recently i've slowed that down. There is a business phrase - "If it can be measured, it can be measured". I started graphing my Standard Drinks on an Excel Spreadsheet, and I allocate an allowance on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Once you see the graph, it helps to see your progress when you slow down drinking. Sure sometimes I'll have a bottle of wine on a wednesday, but maybe i'll have a dry Friday.

Why don't you do a video on what stopped you gambling. When I was younger what brought me to my senses was losing nearly 800 quid in 3 days. This was 1989. It hit me hard. It didn't leave me broke but was a massive shock to the system. I do occasionallly gamble now in a live casino wiith a meal every couple of months. Kind of a family/friends get together. A treat if you will. So in my case it was a big loss that brought me to my senses. 35 years later I can afford easily to lose what I budget for on these bi monthly trips. I do no more than that. It would be interesting how others got away from the hurt and pain of losing at gambling. Your videos are great but it would be good to hear from others post gambing, even if, like me, they 'occasionally' every couple of months turn it into a treat or simply stopped gambling full stop.

I'm at the 3 week mark and my 3rd bout of gout. My guess is that it is the result of the toxins being flushed, and uric acid sitting in the joints just waiting for something to trigger the crystalisation. You have articulated my experience to a tee.

Bro you were drinking more than a few a day. Those symptoms sound like a 12 pack or more a day.
