This video has encouraged me to buy this keyboard. I'm all about worship and song writing and if Israel feels this strongly about this keyboard, then this is my next keyboard. Thank you for sharing. Israel...You Rock man! I heard your preaching at Lakewood and you have inspired me to preach and write more songs. Keep doing what you are doing...God is using you.
iv been listening to some of your music, and i am touched by ur song, The weight of your glory. i just cant sing it, coz in the middle of the song my voice cant continue, becoz i start cryin.
Nice instrument. In today's market there are way too many "something-for-everyone" type of instruments. This instrument is everything for someone, which is what I like to see.
good machine , am still a yamaha fan , havent tried out this baby yet , but for me , yamaha has the warmth im looking for especially pianos on the Motif and the Mo . however i should say this is quite tempting. Well done ROLAND
if you're looking for a similar modeling done by Yamaha, Yamaha actually has CP1, they have modelled the pianos out of CF3 and S6 and also Rhodes and Wurlitzer, with wooden keys, $2000 cheaper than V-Piano
How does this really compare to the RD-700NX new board. Some say its the same keybed action. Im thinking of buying a V-Piano real soon but wonder if the RD-700NX is the same action and sound for less money or it it just talk from some that don't want to spend the money for the Top end stuff.
I just found a brand new V-Piano in a big local store that for some reason they left out of inventory, they offered it with a reduced price from the original, I had no option but to buy it. I hope it was a good buy, it’s been too long since Roland came out with it that I am afraid it is obsolete at this 2021, I would like to learn the opinion of the ones that knows about it.
kinda late but I guess you still would like a reply. Honestly, if it sounds good it sounds good. It does not matter what year the product came out. I still see a lot of people using nord piano 1 and 2, nd no one is calling those instruments obsolete
@@shotarolee5021 Thanks for your response, I have to tell you that I found that this instrument is amazing, the touch feeling and the fact that the sound can be adjusted to your taste makes the best piano keyboard I have ever played.
Wonderful sound on this highly adjustable piano. But I'd rather have a V-Piano Grand, partly because the design would prevent "pedal creep". Of course, the grand is more expensive, and even the stage piano is in comparison with other digital pianos. But the V-Piano Grand (carried by Prosser Piano in Seattle, which is closest to my current location) is what I'd prefer, and still a lot less expensive than a Fazioli.
there's a lot of great chords in there with some colorful extensions at the 5:00 mark he does this thing where it's like- Amin 9- C/G - C/E - Fmaj 13 - E/G# - Amin 9-G/B - Cmaj9
You can buy it for less than $7K. The retailers raised the price by $1K over the past year. The price increase is ridiculous. It just gives the stores more room to negotiate. Do not pay $7K! They are ripping off the customers.
This Piano cost about $6999. Yeah, A lot of money but I believe that it's well worth it. Because it sounds like a real piano and the samples can't give you that piano sound. I've played on this piano and it is AMAZING. I'm going to get it one of these days. Can someone find it in their heart to give me $6999? LOL i'm kidding. LOL But it is a very nice piano.
I've watched a lot of these V Piano videos, and one thing is always missing: You never get to see the speaker/sound system the artists are actually playing through. I think its a great piano-keyboard-controller, but without an expensive and stellar sound system behind it, it's little more than a weighted keyboard with a nice sound module. Where am I wrong?
If it had the look of the RD-1000 I'd love it. The V-Piano might be good sound-wise and all, but for some reason I don't love it due to the aesthetics not to my liking.
I concur. 7k is just brutal. A kronos, fantom or motif will do an equally good job. With that 7k, one can buy a kronos and a fantom, which is what i would do if i had 7K just for keyboards
I'm not impressed by the V iv'e played it several times and was not impressed it has a decent tone but it still sounds like a roland.....and iv'e never liked there piano's don't get me wrongthe is Nice but I would expect more for the price and hype.......
Is this a black man's piano or can white people play it too. Im just curious. I'm hispanic so, i am in the middle. I guess i could use one of these pianos but what about real Caucasians. Can they buy this instrument too ?
2019 And still loving this review
So much feel, so good time, so perfect accent...
His ability never ceases to amaze me =)
That piano sound is rich! Love it! Israel is a revolutionary.
Sounds awesome and it's true that such great sounds feed creativity.
you are no hack..you are an artist..lovely piano and now I have to have one)))

Amen!!!!
who knew talking about a piano could put one in such a meditative disposition lol
amazing piano!!
Moving Forward...:-)
This piano sounds great!
I can almost say this piano ain't got wrong notes from the sound of it :) Houghton's music is always an inspiration.
I Wish I Had A Dime For Knowing Every Piano That He Had Growing Up. Man I Would Be Rich.

@pjpionelo I believe the comment was referring to the piano, not Israel

Roland please put this sample on a module...can't afford the v piano right now...
Isreal!!! wooo WOOooo woooo, Jesus Woooo wooo!!!!!
9:33 makes me think about a lot of things
Is Roland going to come out with even more new models for this keyboard this year
2013 and the future to come???
He Played A Bunch Of Great Keyboards

What module is Israel using that is sitting on top of the V piano?
7 grand brotha
THE NORD NP 88 KEYBOARD IS ALSO A BEAST ALSO THE NORD C2D PORTABLE ORGAN
But you can’t compare all those to v piano man . I know those are beautiful but v piano is a beast man .
Does this sound like fantoms 2019s v piano? Thanks
@cgram: the v piano is not sampled.its actually made by roland.
Roland makes the best everything, elecronics, keyboards everything.
Israel yg dulu bknlah yg sekarang, aku yg dulu bknlah yg sekarang, turut bduka cita... Yeremia 18
9:39 - 12:00 man thats some nice music!
greenmamba93 Isnt It Though ?
It is indeeeddddd
@clipbrowser no it does not... professional instruments rarely have built in speakers
He must be in love with those two chords, playing them again and again!
You've gotta check out an roland rd800. That's my favorite. I haven't tried this yet.
we have that keyboard at my church, its great!
Freerunner105 you are so lucky. I would get it if I had the money. Might not happen for a long time.
Wow that piano is tight

yey... dream
What monitors did you use for this video? Or did you use a PA?

He's like legit😂😂😂😂
@cgram20 This piano is physically modeled, it doesn't use any samples...
i want to learn these "preacher chords" !!!! someone help!
there's a lot of great chords in there with some colorful extensions
at the 5:00 mark he does this thing where it's like- Amin 9- C/G - C/E - Fmaj 13 - E/G# - Amin 9-G/B - Cmaj9

3:16 - "I'm a hack." Sheesh
@pjpionelo i dont think he's referring to Israel lol dont be so quick to judge lol Hes asking about the V-Piano...
He plays his own talk music
This Piano cost about $6999. Yeah, A lot of money but I believe that it's well worth it. Because it sounds like a real piano and the samples can't give you that piano sound. I don't know if you're still around, but 8 years after this comment, I'm saying to you that Roland still has yet to make anything better than this
Marasy uses this keyboard, so it must be a great keyboard, I want
wew how much?
how much is this piano???

@MrPoik007 but saying something like "b_t_h" is not a good way to talk like that..
God bless.
true that Josh lol
I concur. 7k is just brutal. A kronos, fantom or motif will do an equally good job. With that 7k, one can buy a kronos and a fantom, which is what i would do if i had 7K just for keyboards
@clipbrowser Don't say such thing to God's worship servant and another thing, look closely man, he has a mic...
I think he knows a little more about paino tonality than you people.
Is not the bold or the arrow is the Indian for $7000 come on
Roland pianos sound so good because they sample Yamaha's best grand pianos
I'm not impressed by the V iv'e played it several times and was not impressed it has a decent tone but it still sounds like a roland.....and iv'e never liked there piano's don't get me wrongthe is Nice but I would expect more for the price and hype.......
U can buy a grand piano for that price.
Duh!!!?? you can buy one but its sounds crap!!! and carry your Grand Piano everywhere. Stupid!
Sounds far too harsh and crude to my ear. U certainly could not describe this as rich and warm!
Is this a black man's piano or can white people play it too. Im just curious. I'm hispanic so, i am in the middle. I guess i could use one of these pianos but what about real Caucasians. Can they buy this instrument too ?
That's a black man playing a white man's piano, you racist.
what the heck are you talking about.. its a piano .. just buy it
You could if you were getting paid for an endorsement. LOL
alter call music.! lol
play more and talk less!
Weston Bernard I
Play, don't talk.
