I've said it before but I love how you share more simple recipes or tout certain natural ingredients. Skin care doesn't have to be multiple serums or a 10-step routine. But whatever works for you. Sometimes that's going back to basics or using serums that contain multiple ingredients to target specific concerns. Not extras you don't need. I've had to overhaul my skin care routine multiple times just to find out what suits me best and when my skin is breaking out or irritated from certain product's ingredients, change of seasons, diet, etc I go back to using a gentle cream or soap free cleanser and a moisturizer that repairs the skin barrier with peptides and ceramides.

Hello, I have a question in regard to the device you use to spray water on your face: what is it and where to buy it. I love your videos and you look so gorgeous!! ❤️❤️❤️
Can I ask what your opinion is of Westman atelier skin activator. I tried some on the back of my hand and could not believe how much better it felt. I ended up buying it in the Black Friday sale and so far loving it. It makes my skin look more plump and less lined, just wish it was cheaper!
Listening to you, I abandoned my HA serum (BTW one of the cheapest, The Ordinary). And I could see my face turn in crocodile skin :( all the fine lines came out, my skin turned toilet papery.) So I turned back to using HA serum and my face thrives again :) So yes, there are skin types that NEED hyaluronic acid :)
Isn’t it funny how she only talks about products… her skin is the result of far more than just skincare, if you catch my drift. I’ll help y’all out more than she has; your diet is HUGE for your skin, your hormones can cause skin problems like acne, and of course cosmetic treatments help. Please don’t fool yourself into thinking her skin is the result of anything she’s applying topically. I’ve worked in the cosmetics industry for years, and she has 💯 been getting lasers and injections. Hey I don’t knock her, she’s making a lot money. She sells skincare products so of course she’s not gonna be transparent with the viewers. Anyways believe me or not, but at least I have nothing to profit off this. 🤔
maybe if you actually watched her videos you will know what procedures she has and does. She even talks about hormones. She rarely talks about her own products. She has never said she just does topically, so you clearly have never watched her, Ms cosmetic industry expert. lol.
I recently started using the glycerin/water mist and the aveeno serum and my skin is much happier, so thank you. I’m a former aesthetician and I admit to having been a product snob in the past and looking down on drugstore products.
I've always had beautiful skin, very sensitive and took very good care. Bought a face cream not realizing the ingredients had been Updated . Went thru a terrible time , skin eruptions , dryness , red , painful . Little by little I realized it was a reaction to the HA. It took 8 months for my skin barrier to heal. I've always been a label reader and focused on pure ingredients. It just has been added to so many products .

Also..Squalane oil..walnut oil. Jojoba oil. Pumpkin seed oil. Raspberry seed oil/castor oil..sgea and illipe butter. And mango butter. Ive used all with no millia popping up(i have extremely sensitive skin)
I love your eyeliner in this vid ❤
Which two serums do you use?
I don't know what the aveeno one is, but the other is from Cocokind. It looks like it's the ceramide barrier serum, which I LOVE!
The Aveeno one is the Triple Oat Serum. My skin loves it!
I love how you have taken care of your skin. It looks firm and flawless. I am turning 31 and already seeing under eye fat loss and deepening smile lines. Pls share what in-clinic things/procedures I can do to stop it.
i think the firmness is definitely helped by the fillers/botox (im not sure which shes said she has done)
She also does Botox and don't forget that the face looks completely different on camera vs the mirror. She also seems to have makeup on.
But even with all that, I agree, she looks amazing for her age.
Her skin is beautiful (no doubt about that!) but don’t be too fooled - there’s filters that all CZcamsrs use now to make skin flawless (glass like) on camera

I used glycerin and rosewater over my whole body and face. It's hydrating, cooling and inexpensive!
You’re so AWESOME. Thank you for this tid bit.
My daughter told me a young looking senior this was her secret for looking so young.
BUT she didn’t mention mixing it with water.
🙏🏼👍🏼🥰
WHHHYYY do literally **ALL** of your shorts cut off? Seriously annoying… Please make a full short or not at all
Dr Barbara strum I see you!!!! lol
I think I love you! 😂
No, but really, you’re now my go-to internet doctor for anything skin related!
I just bought that aveeno serum. It's the first facial skincare I've used from them but my skin loves it.
What one is it? I am having trouble reading the label at the end
Aveeno calm and restore line triple oat serum
Is it equal parts?
In other yt she have the hole recipe and that she got this mist maker from Amazon. The ratio is 1/4 glycerin 1 to 4 of water.
Thank you!
I mixed. Bunch of facial skin care to create a lip moisturizer since chap sticks just sit on top of my lips but do not hydrate on deeper layers. I used glycerin from Neutrogena, multi peptide, Hyaluronic Acid, lip tint and my lips stay so soft, subtle and hydrated👌
I order my glycerin and should be receiving it today. Excited to try the face mister!
It's a game changer!
@@shereeneidrissHi where do you purchase the sprayer?
@@shereeneidriss What is the ratio of the glycerin and water that should be used in the sprayer. So excited to try this!!❤
@@leslieweiser5455I saw it in amazon
@@pattyostrowski3271:4 ratio with water. I found another short of her where she said that.
I have been using rose water and glycerin for years and trust me no moisturiser can replace them
What ratio do you use? Ty🙌🏻
And what brands ??
@@nasrin-1291 mix equal parts glycerin and water in a small spray bottle and use as a facial mist throughout the day
Shereene Idriss, what is the shelf life of that mist? Should it be stored in the refrigerator?
You are a clever blessing ppl say look in my teen years despite being in my 20s love 💕
Whats the ratio for the mix ? X
Same question
1:4 glycerin then water
Can you please write what you specials on instead of saying it in each video? ❤
Can you do a reel about rosacea, frownies and gua sha?
I would love to know other uses for vegetable glycerin!!!! Also the ratio of glycerin to water!!
i think she said in another vid 1:4 ratio
Oh I thought it was a 1:1 ratio. Just look up “Pillowtalkderm facial mist” or “pillowtalkderm glycerin” that should bring the results
Edit: ok I came back it’s not 1:1 ratio
It’s supposed to be,
50ml rose water
50ml distilled water
30ml (2 tbsp) 100% glycerin. This the recipe for facial mist! :D hope this helps
@@moguada1:4th as in 1 parts glycerin to 4 parts water or vice versa?
@@Mentallyunstableflop WATER to the power of 4. Glycerin to the power of one. Just a dab will do ya!
@@Mentallyunstableflop1 for glycerin and 4 for water
Was it Aveeno & Cocokind that I saw?
Aveeno calm restore serum and cocokind's Ceramide Barrier
The cocokind it says that is barrier repair BUT it has lactid acid and you eill feel it after shaving your face or even after a facial next day
Does anyone know what mister that is?
I believe she has said in the past it's a nano mister from Amazon
@@tammycrumpacker4624 thank you!
THank you so much.
Yes I always use the DIY glycerin and water on my skin
What ratio of glycerin to water should be used?
1.4 as others stated above.
Anyone know the ratio please ☺️ - thank you!!

Which are the 2 serums? I don't see anything in the description box or comments.
One was Aveeno and the other one was cocokind... open your eyes wider while watching the shorts. 👀 😁
Take a picture better!
1. Aveeno Calm + Restore, Triple Oat serum
2. Cocokind Ceramide barrier serum
@@adrianavargova Thank you!
I need to know where you got that spray bottle thing?!?!😊😊😊
Just use a regular spray bottle 😊
@@kizzle45shizzle I do but the one she used isn't just a regular spray bottle. That's why I want to know where she got it..
She got it on Amazon
@@sandrarogolino6456 thanks!
I think it’s called a nano facial mister/sprayer. I just found it on Amazon. Most of them are under $10, which is cool!
Awesome hack glad I watched
I love your honesty thank you.❤❤❤👍👍
Listening to you, I abandoned my HA serum (BTW one of the cheapest, The Ordinary). And I could see my face turn in crocodile skin :( all the fine lines came out, my skin turned toilet papery.)
So I turned back to using HA serum and my face thrives again :)
So yes, there are skin types that NEED hyaluronic acid :)
Out of curiosity, what did you try replacing it with?
@@TheCrystalChaplin she mentioned glycerine which doesn't really do much to my skin.
Whats the ratio for mixing glycerin and water?
1:4 my friend
regular glycerine user here. I buy it here in Bulgaria for pennies!
What’s the ratio: water/glycerin? Thanks
I love the cocokind serum! I wish it was available in stores out here
Thank you Love it when she gets on a roll of budget friendly Yes
I prefer korean skin care they are the best🎉
Hi Dr Idriss, what's your opinion on skinceuticals?
That’s what I do too.🇨🇦
After watching your video I tried glycerine and omg! It's completely effective on my dry skin. Thank you so much
I've always had beautiful skin, very sensitive and took very good care.
You are an absolute legend for helping us out with all these tips . Thankyou so much ❤
How do you do this over sunscreen though? The mist won’t absorb and the sunscreen will run off right?
Could you, please create content with an advise for thin, grey and sensitive skin with visible redness (couperose skin type) for 40 year old? Absolutely love your glowing skin 🫶🏻
I replaced hyaluronic acid for glycerin as you said and my face is not only more hydrated but also less inflammated ❤
I live the aveeno!!! Thank you ☺️
