- Welcome to my CZcams channel! Dozens of my videos have gone viral over the past few years, many reaching over one million people on Instagram and TikTok. While I don't know if I'll EVER get used to that, I'm finally venturing onto CZcams with the goal of sharing more about my life, what living with Cerebral Palsy is like for me, adaptive exercises, dating, accessible travel, education/awareness, disability advocacy, and so much more!
Here's a quick intro video covering some basics about me - the girl who proudly struts her walk with Cerebral Palsy all over social media! Please introduce yourself in the comments, I'm really looking forward to connecting with existing and new subscribers through this new channel! :)
Also, if there’s any long-form content you’re interested in watching PLEASE comment ideas as well!

My mom was "crippled " her word not mine. She was hilarious and always made folks laugh. I was about 16 when I realized she was different. She raised me by herself and will always be my hero!
mi mamá quedó paralizada
a los cincuenta y cinco años.
ella usa silla de ruedas y andador ahora
I didnt hear that
The pit how inconsiderate
@@antonchapman5173 Inconsiderate, how?
I'm assuming because of the term they used?
Judging by the content of their story, they used their mom's self-ascribed description. Their mom thought of herself as far less capable then her child did (Obviously, since they think of her as their hero.)
Though I've personally known a few people with physical disabilities who identified with that term, ***as a noun*** (much to the chagrin of everyone else), I understand that it could come off as offensive or ableist. Though, if that were the goal, there are plenty of overt terms for conveying that.
I dunno, I don't read inconsideration in their message, honestly. I read a love-letter to someone much larger than their self-image.
Hey there! My name is Maggie I am nineteen years old and I am also disabled with Cerebral palsy. I just wanted to say thank you For putting yourself out there and showing others what it is like in your daily life with Cerebral palsy. ❤
Hey! You are absolutely gorgeous and a true inspiration. Keep up the good work!!! ❤
Thank you!!
Kendrick sockey missippiss 41 💋💋😘😘😘😄😄😂📱🧑🦼👍♿🍾💵
I am 54 years old and I have cerebral palsy as well. Cerebral palsy has taken a tole on my life. I retired in April 2021 because of my disability. I took a bad fall in July 2018 breaking my ankle. So that was the beginning of the end of being a state worker in Albany New York. I say all the to say watching your videos is inspiring for me. I have sort of put limitations on myself and you are encouraging myself not to do that . Thankyou for being a blessing.
And your lord and savior Biden hasn’t helped you one bit……… it’s ok he hasn’t done much for anyone actually
Love this brave adorable woman!!! ❤️❤❤❤❤
What you do is light up the screen with a beautiful smile and an infectious, optimistic dose of pure happiness and positive energy. It’s a boost we all crave so I don’t think it matters too much what activity you choose--
Honestly... An extended "Day in the life" would be a great vid. Morning routine, meals, traveling around town...etc. the ups and downs and how an average day goes.
Love this! I will definitely get a video like this up soon!
@@realchelseabear hi there. God bless you and savior JESUS keep you safe always:)
@@gregsimmons694 All part of your god's plan?
@@wfemp_4730 We are sinners! Wages of sin is death! God made us! JESUS can save us! Real simple!
@@gregsimmons694 Apparently some are more sinful than others and are afflicted with disorders. Not so simple!
I'm glad you decided to do this. I bet you'll find that a lot of people are into the long form content! Hope you keep them coming..
Thank you for your support!
@@realchelseabear you are so beautiful and courageous (I really mean it). You glow in your videos and have the most dazzling smile. I didn't become disabled until later in life, after 30, I'm now 57 and struggle with all the things I can't do anymore (such as continue my practice as a professional nurse) instead of exploring the things I can do that is nurturing and helpful to others. I need new priorities.
I first saw some of your videos yesterday, you are inspiring and I'm so encouraged. I want to tell you not to listen to the naysayers, love yourself and believe in who are destined to be. I'll be watching you and thanks for allowing us to be a part of your life.
Awesome Content & you truly shine!! Thank you for the information shared to help others understand!
Hi
I think you are helping so many people with disabilities across the board. Just keep being you and never change that!
Glad to be here for the launch! I think I first encountered you when you and Squirmy & Grubs were visiting WDW. My wife has CP and uses a powerchair full time. We raised two kids (one’s nearly your age!) and just celebrated our 30th anniversary.
Thank you for being here! And for sharing your story, happy anniversary to you and your wife!!
I don’t know if you are really challenging yourself. It seems to me there is nothing you can’t do. Congratulations and thank you for what you do.
I've been watching! I'm pleased that you present yourself here as nice as you do in your videos. Soldier on Young Lady.
Congratulations and best of luck with the channel!!!
Thank you!!!
I’m so glad you took the leap. I have only followed for a few months on Insta but I really enjoy the content you put out. I have a very good friend who has a more severe case of CB. She used to be a high school sweet heart. Due to certain reasons outside of us we have decided to remain friends instead. I can honestly say at first it felt weird to me because it was new to me. She was in a wheelchair and she had difficulty speaking, but after a short while it was easily overlooked once I really got to know her. I can honestly say and agree with you, a disability doesn’t define a person. We went to dances, clubs and even sang karaoke together for years. She can definitely keep up as far as drinks go lol. But I look forward to seeing more of your videos and spreading awareness. I’m excited to see what you have for us in the future.
This lass is beautiful with her whole outlook on life. Go get’em girl!
A big shout out from the big state of Texas. I've been a fan of ur page for a short while and continue to be just because I believe ur a big voice for the physical challenge and most importantly a inspiration to or will be millions across the globe 🌎. Keep doing what ur doing and I'm sure u'll be viewed and inspiring people every day. God bless.
You are so bright, smiling and beautiful. I honestly don't pay attention to anything else, because your smile brightens my day, your positivity is inspiring for everyone and you are such a breath of fresh air!! I spent over half my life working with the differently abled and hated to retire because of health problems from a traumatic back injury. I had to learn how to walk with nerve damage in my legs, so I am just happy that I wasn't paralyzed from the spinal fractures. I'm just blessed to be walking. I miss all those folks I worked with through the years and seeing their goals be met, and watching the intensity they brought to getting there, no matter how harsh of a struggle it was. The smiles when they conquered their personal Mount Everest was inspiring in my own fight. They made my life better just being with them. You are brightening peoples day with every video!! God bless and keep smiling!!
You are absolutely gorgeous lady and so very brave to come out and share your life. Enjoy your videos and keep them coming dear ❤❤❤❤
This is awesome. We need more disabled people doing videos and showing disability in its true form. Destroy the stereotypes. We are people like everyone else. Be open be honest even when it can be uncomfortable and you will be successful. Wish you luck.

Your just simply amazing! That dam smile 😊 Been watching your shorts and now a subscriber!
I have only just started watching your videos and am liking what you have posted a lot! Keep the videos coming Chelsea.
It is so inspiring to find content by people who are making the most out of their disability. I myself have a very aggressive form of MS and have lost a lot of my mobility in the last 2 years since my diagnosis. It is very important for me to stay positive and this definitely helps me out!
Wish you all the best and good luck on this journey! I have enjoyed your CZcams shorts and look forward to more content. Gaining new perspectives on life is a passion of mine and I hope to learn more from you. Bravo!
Way to go young lady, best of luck with this podcast!! Can't believe you're single, absolutely stunning you are!🤩🤩
You just popped up on you tube shorts, seeing you walking with that big smile, put a smile on my face, wish you the best 😊
Hi Chelsea. You popped up on my CZcams shorts. You had such a huge smile on your face so I clicked on your channel. My second cousin Beau has Cerebral Palsy but his journey requires him to be in a wheelchair. Beau just participated in a holiday run in Vegas. I enjoyed seeing the photos from this event. Perhaps bringing awareness to these events so other folks are aware they are out there. Could be an opportunity for people to volunteer. Have a good day.
Great to see your content & meet you! You’re such a joy to watch and great positivity shines thru! Keep up the great work in helping the general public understand more about your daily living & how you travel & enjoy life!!🥰🎉🤩
Good morning and truly amazing how you don't stop that smile. I love it, that's all motivation just from that!..

🥰
Thank you so much for your support Terrie!
@@realchelseabear I think you are super cool. My nephew was hit by car and brain damaged, and is now 50 years old. I have worked with older MS people.
People have a difficult time understanding that a body isn't a "Person" and from another vantage point, you teach us what we don't know.
Beautiful smile.
I love your walk.
😊
My nephew always leans to one side in his gait. LOL.
You just go for for it!
One foot in front of the other.
Do your thing and broadcast to all your adventures.
You Rock!

You are a legend Chelsea bear, I absolutely love you videos
Love your positive attitude and great smile.
I watched my Grandmother who had Multiple Sclerosis get talked over for years, just because she was in a wheelchair people assumed she couldn't answer for herself. As a kid it used to really Annoy me.
Please keep up the good work and I wish you every success in your life.
Chelsea, you are a beautiful person and an inspiration! We love your positive attitude and smile! Keep up the great work posting videos and tik tok!
You are amazing. You are such an inspiration. Keep up the great work beautiful soul 💚
So glad you have started a CZcams channel . I look forward to your daily videos , they cheer me up so much with your infectious smile .
Saw this and hurriedly subbed. Thanks for info on traveling in a wheelchair. Much needed and much appreciated.
Hey! I stumbled across your videos while I was researching something else and I just wanted to let you know what a bright light you are in the world. My wife of 27 years is handicapped. Due to the way she walks and moves, (she uses a mobility scooter) people assume she has CP. But, her disability stems from a traumatic brain injury she sustained as a teenager. She now has a bad case of cervical dystonia. I found your channel when I was researching dystonia and CP. I just wanted to say your content warms my heart and I just want to send you my warmest regards.
I am so happy you chose to start your channel. You are a breath of fresh air.
Gday Chelsea from Australia. Couple of your videos have come up in the shorts. I was made redundant nearly 9 years ago and suffer from a degenerative bone disease, severe anxiety and a heart defect so at 51 I was put on a disability pension. Watching this and your video shorts you show how much of an inspiration and legend you are. Thanks so much for sharing this and keep up your amazing work. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thankyou so very much for sharing your life. Keep doing what your doing so well.😊

I think you are doing a great job on your videos, you show people that no matter what adversity you might have, a great attitude and a giant smile will take you a long way. Easy to complain about what life gives you, much harder to smile at the joy can still give you. You are very impressive and show that it is much better to try and be great, which you are.
At last I managed to find your Video. It really enhances everything I have seen thusfar on you and your motivated lifestyle.
