They are mostly hybrids so they start on their batteries. The bus 63 is fully electric and is the start of the gradual conversion of all buses to electric. You saw the 63 along the ride, including the bus that did the u-turn when stopped at one of the earlier traffic lights. The 63 shares a lot of its route with this one, the 363.
Where is that God awful road with all the graffiti on every waii? Is there anywhere in London where somebody has built a single family house, in the last ten years. Everywhere appears to have nothing but run down, Victorian and Edwardian houses?
The graffiti in Peckham is disgraceful. In London during the past thirty years residential development has been predominantly on brownfield sites mainly comprising clusters of tower blocks. There is a block in Acton over fifty stories high. The buildings are impressive but I don’t think I could happily live in one. Some of the neighbourhoods, Stratford, Alperton and Tottenham Hale for example, seem depressing but maybe that’s a personal impression.
