    Another great journey. I love seeing the different areas of London without leaving home. Btw loved the tandem at the start of the video, haven’t seen one for years! Hope you enjoy the holiday weekend. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you for taking us with you on these journeys! because there is no way that I would drive up there! OMG the amount of people that got off at Earls Court , that must of emptied the bus! Loved it even if it was a short journey!

    Love your videos, a great way to see London, living in Essex this one in particular being alien territory to me. What do you do though, if you can’t get one of the front seats on the bus?

    A great trip. But I was fascinated by the mass migration between the Chelsea Harbour and Earl's Court stations. Can anyone enlighten this non-Londoner? The bus seemed to be expecting it.

    Have you got any videos of being on a 207 from shepherd's bush?.

    9:27 - Is such a sharp maneuver allowed by the Traffic Rules? And if there is heavy traffic, crossing several lanes will be problematic.

    What do the squiggly lines on the road mean?

    • @ycart_tech6726
      @ycart_tech6726 Před 2 lety

      There seems to be squiggliness on the approach to pedestrian crossings, which aren't on a traffic light regulated intersection... unless it's been supercedingly marked that it's a 20 mph street... how much fucking slower can you go? Might as well step out and push your car through?
      Something along the lines of... people crossing back and forth here, so snap out of your London driver's haze and watch the damn road for a minute or two...
      I am certain it's some sort of arcane knowledge that has been closely guarded with the local road department since aeons immemorial... it's been said that London road marking were a factor that partly prevented the actual invasion of the city by Hitler's Wehrmacht.

      @@ycart_tech6726 the answer is simple. No Parking by any vehicles on the squiggly lines, thus preserving a clear view for safety for pedestrian crossing. Big fine and points on the licence if you park on them.

    30:12 .... hilarious .. I can't think of any worst sustainable road design.. No space for bikes, buses... only 3 one way highway for cars....

    • @ds1868
      @ds1868 Před rokem +1

      The road plan was laid down by the Romans and changed further in the late medieval period. We didn't have cars then, the roads were not designed for such traffic. Please remember London is 2,000 years old, it is what it is.
