Those Roland RGB to Scart leads aren't a couple of quid, they are £15.99 from retrocomputershack on eBay.

      Hi @Christian
Thanks for getting in touch and pointing out the current price of this specific lead. I made this video 3.5 years ago and would have obtained the RGB to start lead some time before that. What I have seen in a number of instances is that the prices of components has increased significantly in the last five years.
However, even though you might object to having to pay £16 for this specific cable, and when I see that price that would be my nature reaction. I would then take a step back and think it is cheaper to buy the cable than research the pin configuration, buy the parts (retail) and then the time spent soldering it all together. Jon

Hi Jon, I'd be interested to hear what you have in your studio rack in terms of outboard effects?
I've been toying with the idea of picking up one of the early 90's Ensoniq DP4 or DP2 models. Just wondering if you have any experience with these units?
    Cheers,
    Ross

I have 2 * Alesis MidiVerb 4’s in my racks which I use with the DX7 and some of my other older units to give the sound some width. These work extremely well for me.
I have seen Espen Kraft demo the Eventide H3000 in czcams.com/video/0iB-2ZVs5ro/video.html. Which I think looks very tasty.
The Ensoniq modules also look tasty, but I am to be honest getting everything I currently need form the units I have.
