- After leaving Barra de Navidad on the Mexican Gold Coast, we sail north to the place we've been told is the ultimate cruiser's destination: Tenacatita, a picture perfect anchorage that is legendary among cruisers for its miles of white-sand beach, and tight cruising community. But it turns out to be VERY different than what we were expecting. And then…we do something REALLY CRAZY!

Well, I have known you for a lifetime and you never said you weren't crazy. BUT...you are also extremely capable. I didn't doubt you guys for a minute. 😊 Wooohooo!
Thanks Kar! It was a risky move but we are nothing if not adventurous. 😉
Nice surfing skills!
LOL! It was splashy for sure!
WOW cool vid, you guys are inspiring
Thanks so much! We are definitely loving this lifestyle. 😁 Thanks for watching!
YTSC I love it! you guys are awesome, we would get along excellently. 🙌
Wouldn't it be great if we dropped the hook in the same anchorage someday? 😁
Making it over the serf shelf must have been fun!
It was a bit splashy, but fun as hell! I'm so glad we did that. It made our stop there such an adventure!
Hey you two. It’a BOUT THAT time for me to leave slip D30 in CI and head towards SD for the 2021 haha. Maybe sometimes we’re lucky enough to share a beer with each other on a coast of somewhere beautiful. Good video! Keep it up.
Thanks! And we’d love to share a cerveza! Have a great time on the Haha. Should be a good one!
@@svjuliet6055 muchas gracias
So sad when your expectations are high and reality do not quite falls out as you want but what the h.. its cruising
True, but we made up for it with that wild ride! We can’t complain...we’re so lucky to be living this life. 😊
I have dingy wheel envy. Will those bolt on to a Achilles dingy?
Y'know Jim, the wheels are an iffy thing - sometimes they are a great help, but other times they dig into the sand/mud and just make it harder to pull the dinghy ashore. It's completely dependent on the bottom situation. We often take them off and don't even bother. 😉 So...no envy necessary!
