- As we continue our cruising journey on the Mexican Pacific mainland, we head to our southernmost destination: Barra de Navidad. Along the way, Charlie gives a brief lesson in boom preventer systems. In Barra we discover a charming, quintessentially Mexican beach town, and a marina offering a level of luxury beyond our expectations! We finally meet the famous Floating French Baker, and reconnect with old sailing buddies.

Ours too! This was actually from last season...and funny thing is that I'm currently working on the video of our visit to Barra this season! So stay tuned...I should have it posted in within a few days. I don't post videos as often as I should, but I try to keep up. 😉

Hi Lee Anne & Charlie, I found your channel recently one month ago and found it most interesting and entertaining so immediately subscribed to follow you guys. I am a Mexican retired MD from Guadalajara. My wife and I for many years have planned to cruise the Mexican Pacific in our own sailboat as one of our projects for retirement and now we are finally doing it with in our capabilities, so your videos come to us very handy because we are following quite the same path as you guys. Right now unfortunately we're locked down in our apartment in Guadalajara with Covid both of us, but we plan to return to our plans if we come out of this one harmless. Currently we're keeping our sailboat in Paradise Village in PV. We wish you the beast of lucks and hope we cross paths some time out on the ocean.

So sorry to hear you are ill with Covid, and we wish you a quick recovery! Paradise Village is a great marina, we spent quite a few weeks there. We definitely intend to go back there next season. Hope to run into you in an anchorage somewhere!
