My diesel was a 3500 cab and chassis I bought new, then put a dump bed on it. The bed weighed 4000 lbs by it's self. The cab protector hurt the aerodynamics too, but the best I ever got on that truck was 12 MPG and that was empty and pure interstate driving. When towing I got 8 to 8.5. I'm just doing lawn maintenance now so I don't need as big of a truck. Thanks for watching and replying
Thanks for getting me outta my diesel dreams I appreciate you sir
Very good information!
Enjoy your videos. Veteran in the industry, but new to the CZcams. I support you sir.
Thanks
Been debating this recently. Seeing some lawn guys with diesels mad me want to keep up lol. But I like my gas hogs. Easy to work on
😂 Indeed ego does cost-- sometimes, far more than people realize they can pay.
Yes sir
I really like that dumb body set up. Is that a custom with the side boards on it?
It is a EZ dumper with mesh sideboards my welder buddy made for me
great video in buying my next truck.... i want a 3500 for dump trailer pulling and with my ego.. im probably going with the diesel lmao
Thanks man
My gas f150 we get about 9 mph with my 7.3l diesel f250 we get 16mpg. Granted all of my trucks are 20 years old
