  • Took the ROG 12RK Adventure Trailer up off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the North Carolina Mountains to Doughton Park Campground for a week!
Had some special guests! My daughter Amanda and her husband David joined us for a couple of days!
Saw some amazing vistas! Enjoyed beautiful sunsets! Ate some great food and had some nice fellowship with family and friends!
Met another CZcamsr with an Offroad Channel @bigzoffroad! Great meeting Big Zane and his buddy at Doughton Park! Hope you enjoyed the Overland Expo East 2023 up in Virginia!
Thanks for joining us on our adventures!

Hey guys, I completed my first camping trip in your ROG. Loved it. Quick question, I’m having an issue with the lithium batteries draining when not connected. Is there something I’m overlooking when shutting it down? I reached out to Renogy and they advised they need the original receipt for a warranty, or do you have the warranty code?

So glad you are enjoying the ROG! It’s a great trailer! There will always be some drain on the batteries when not in use and the battery shot off pulled out as the mppt controller and Bluetooth transmitter are always active as they are on the other side of the battery disconnect so that way you can always monitor the battery status. The only way to truly “turn the batteries off” is the use the little blue RJ45 plug with the button on the end and Power them both down which will completely shut off the batteries for storage.

Sent cesaro the email I had for the purchase. Hopefully he forwarded it to ya?! Didn’t have a warranty code. Not sure what that is.

Sir, what size panels are those, and do you still use shore power (AC power) with the lithium batteries. Also, are you using the corner 12v plugins for your panels?

Hey dude! It is a 200 Renogy suitcase panel. We were not hooked up to AC power at all up there.

Using the sae solar plug near the shore power plugin down low on the driver side. Mppt is built into the dc to dc converter I installed on the Rog.
