அருமை அண்ணா! நானும் கடந்த எட்டு வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு BSNL Landline Connection வைத்திருந்தேன். ஒரு சமயம் சரியான சிக்னல் கிடைக்கவில்லை, ஊழியரை தொடர்பு கொண்டு கம்ப்லைன்ட் கொடுத்து ஒரு மாதம் கழித்து தான் சரி செய்தார்கள் மேலும் சரி செய்ததற்கு 500 ரூபாய் லஞ்சம் கேட்டனர். மேலும் மழைக்காலம் வந்தால் நெட்வொர்க் கிடைக்காது. நான் வெறுத்து போய் நெட்வொர்க்கை கேன்சல் செய்து விட்டேன்.

BSNL is the worst customer service provider. I was using BSNL for more than 20years. They activated Hungama without my approval and started charging RS.999/ month for unlimited movies, songs and games. I'm not a game or movie freak. So I tried to reach BSNL customer service to deactivate, but for close to 4 months and charged Rs.999 every month. At last when I spoke to them they were very adamant. They said they cannot deactivate because they have some target. They said if you don't like Hungama, deactivate BSNL and go. Very worst customer service, I came out of BSNL. Now I am having another vendor and completely customer friendly at 400% reduced cost with 600% more data and I'm 1000% happy now.

Ever since the Telecom Sector was opened up to private players, there is a wide choice of operators. TRAI has also made it easy to change the service provider without changing the number. There is therefore *ABSOLUTELY NO COMPULSION* for anyone to put up with the arrogant attitude of BSNL employees.
It is only a matter of time before the Govt will take a decision to sell off BSNL to the highest bidder.
That hungama is a private vendor.. BSNL is yet to change its policy towards permitting thieves in the name of value added service

About 4g spectrum.
BSNL was given 4g spectrum way before auctions was conducted.
It was because of huge loss they were facing , unable to pay the employee salary...they gave the spectrum back to govt and got 6000 crores and paid the salary to employess.
Only in 2018 end they got back the 4g spectrum by paying back to govt.
Adding to the info.
The 4g band they got is 2500mhz band ..I e known as WImax Technology. Introduced by BSNL way before a decade. 4g was introduced first by BSNL in India..but not through mobiles..thorough broadband modems and dongles. It even reached villages. But unlike 4g LTE it's not portable and can't be used in mobiles. 2500 mhz provides only data connectivity and no voice calls. Leading to failure in BSNL 2500 mhz WImax 4g launch. Adding to that due to hell lot of corruption made by beloved leader Central Chennai MP Dayanidhi maran + employees strength and poor service caused BSNL downfall.
Even now govt can save BSNL from downfall if they want. But that required huge effort from govt, investment.
They have to restructure their whole organisation with young generation like Airtel and JIO.
Almost all the rural areas are covered in India by BSNL only (towers are build through our money ) and not by any network. Even now Airtel and Vodafone pays rent to BSNL to use their 2g services in rural areas..
BSNL has 100 percent connectivity across India , every hook and corner. It's just that the technology is not upgraded.
Better offers , 5g adoption at faster pace , restructuring the organasiation will help BSNL survive this crisis.

You are correct bro.. I was applying broadband connect in Ponmalai, Trichy. My father went many times to apply a connect. Simply they don't give good customer service. Still i didn't get it, almost from 2 years before to till now.

Doordarshan Tamil telecasts good shows but is very laid back. Even if new employees try to introduce new technology, doordarshan officials doesn't like to bring about changes to move ahead in technology and quality of presentation.

சார் இது எனது அனுபவம். நிறைய பேருக்கு இப்படி கிடைத்திருக்கும். லேண்ட் லைனே அரைகுறையா தான் சர்வீஸ் இருக்கும். நான் வேற அப்ப இண்டர்நெட் இணைப்பு வாங்கி விட்டேன். ஒரு மாசம் நல்லா இருந்துச்சி. அப்புறம் பாத்தீங்கன்னா. 15 நாளைக்குத்தான் வரும். இடையில் ஏதோ எவனோ ஒயரை நோண்டிப் புடுவான். இது சரியாக 15 நாள் ஆயிடும். அப்புறம் பில் தெளிவா வந்துடும்.600 லிருந்து 720 வரை கட்டியிருக்கேன் சார்.
ஆபீசுக்கு நடையா நடப்பேன். முக்கியமாக சொன்னா யாருமே அதிகமாக இருக்க மாட்டாங்க. இருக்கிறவங்க மனு கொடுத்துட்டு வர வேண்டியதுதான். இப்படியே போச்சு.
