E+T | Deconstructed: HS2

E+T looks at the UK’s largest railway project in generations: High Speed 2. Originally envisaged by the Gordon Brown government in 2009 as a way to improve transport connections and help lift the UK economy out of its post-recession slump, the project has undergone many changes since.
In the intervening years, its budget has massively exceeded original expectations and it has undergone major cuts that have significantly compromised its original vision. Using footage from its construction alongside news reports and major announcements, E+T looks at the storied history of HS2.
