Boy I wish I could re-live my childhood as I remember watching match of the day around 10:00pm in the evening time on a Saturday or Sunday to see the BPL highlights. Rooney was great for 6-7 years then it was downhill. His last 2 years for United were genuinely terrible, he lost his pace, he lost his touch, and he lost the "spark" he had as a teenager. Boy I wish I could re-live my childhood as I remember watching match of the day around 10:00pm in the evening time on a Saturday or Sunday to see the BPL highlights. They were the best times for me as a kid and most of my greatest memories came from this time period as I was growing up. I just remember seeing the super fast young C.Ronaldo along with the two pitbulls Rooney and Tevez all in action displaying devastating scary counter attacks with raw pace and power in Fergie’s classic 4-4-3 setup.
Also Berbatov used to get thrown in on the 60th minute or so and mix it up with the legendary ‘Trio’ and display his unreal finishing technique’s, agility and his beautiful passing game which was second to none. In that 08/09 season I think that was the best Manchester United side that we have ever seen in the clubs whole history without a shadow of a doubt.
Since C.Ronaldo joined in 2003 he had been amazing for Manchester United, and especially during the 08/09 season when he won the Ballon D’or. In Ronny’s early 20’s he played against all the 90’s and late 80’s legends of the BPL which he then added all there skills to his game. He now displays these skills when he plays in today’s era of football and has now became the best football player in the world!!!
He has many accolades to his name and has accomplished many things in his football career, and has set many records in football that might not ever be broken. He is now officially the greatest player to have ever played in the BPL and is set in stone in Manchester United’s history books forever and ever!!! Long live the red devil himself Cristiano Ronaldo known as Mr.CR7!! Your time spent at old Trafford will never be forgotten as we love you and it’s officially your second home.
