Do you need to disconnect the battery negative terminal when welding the steel plate for the BMC or can you just keep the welder clamp near by the weld point without worrying about damaging anything?

I’ve notice a lot of tundra owners are using a lift shackle in the back. Is it better than a block? Trying to figure out if this is something I want to go with on my tundra.
with blocks you get more axle wrap....shackles (or lift springs/add-a-leaf) don't have that problem.
Great video but running sway bars with that setup kills articulation.
most these owners will never see dirt, its all about parking lot status
I have a 2018 Tundra with Methods 18x9, +25mm offset, and a lift. Currently I have 295/70R18's (about 34.25"). I want to go to 35s. Do you think I will need to do a BMC? When turning it looks that I still have 0.25-0.50" of clearance at the body mount. I know that aggressive offsets require a BMC, but don't know for sure about a +25mm wheel offset.
Did you add the 35s with your set up? Any issues?
Love the videos you guys put out but I find myself not wanting to watch it due to too much flowing video movements. Obviously it's your choice to make it your way and it's my choice to not watch it but little less moving videos and more stationary videos shots? Thanks

What are the brand of the wheel??? on the blue tundra
SCS Ray 10, they are INSANELY lightweight as well as absolutely beautiful looking. They are EXTREMELY rare and hard to find though, they only do a limited run of them a couple times per year and are usually sold out in days.

Do you always need new uppers when lifting these trucks?
Only if you go 2+ish inch lift. Almost every tundra UCA has 3 degrees of caster built in so it doesn't wander while driving in a straight line down the highway.
Conversly, UCA's on stock height gives way too much caster and you won't get good alignment numbers.

BIGDADDYONE121 actually, not entirely, it’s all depending on what the issue is that comes up with your truck.
If you’re worried about warranty, ask your dealer. There are laws that protect the consumer when it comes to warranty. They can’t not honor your warranty simply because your truck is modified. They have to have proof of what you have modified is the direct cause of the issue. But new aftermarket parts come with their own warranty as well. It gets technical and really depends on the situation. Have personally owned multiple Tundras and have always had them modified including engine work. Never a single warranty issue, bulletproof for me so far since my first 2007 Tundra bought back in 2006.

How much do these setups cost?
Blue Truck is roughly $6000 for lift, $3000 for rims and tires, and $2000 for running boards and lighting.
@@KevinHuff23 6000 for the lift? wtf? maybe 3500 tops.
@@ass2mouthallday I’d say closer to $5k for the lift kit with all the necessary components.
BMC’s are not needed to clear 35’s.. just want to throw that out there 👌🏽
Unless you have atleast 4 inces of lift. I have three if em and have tried em all. Especially if you enjoy 0 offset or more with true 35's

18x9 +25mm offset with 35s should not of necessitated a BMC.
