  • Thirty years ago today, the Canadian military was brought in to Kahnawake and Kanesatake in an effort to control the Mohawk resistance.
    All of this over plans to build a golf course on traditional land.
    In 2015, APTN’s Tom Fennario compiled a five-part oral history of the Mohawk resistance of 1990, known to many as the Oka Crisis.
