  • Hello everyone. With today’s Episode 33, I am introducing you to an amazing new cable system from Audience. Their new full lineup of flagship series of cables, including USB cables, single-ended and balanced interconnects, specialty phono and headphone cables, speaker cables, and power cables, known as powerChords, is called frontRow. And I’ll also touch on their newly introduced Ethernet and Serial ATA cables, called Hidden Treasure. These new flagship series of cables from Audience represent a new pinnacle of achievement from an already distinguished manufacturer, and by no small degree.

Very cogent commentary, Greg. As always.
Robinson’s Two Principles of Fine Audio, once again:
    1. There are differences.
    2. The differences make a difference.

Definitely not products for everyone's pocket!
... But that's missing the point.... This is high end after all.... as Audience point out themselves on their site, its about
"exploration and the advancement of musical enjoyment" so, for those prepared (and able) to go to such lengths,I'm sure there's reward...particularly when the entire wiring loom is in place.

Marcus, I realize my preferred area of coverage is that of the hyper-audio realm, so I can sympathize. But, you should know that Audience ALSO makes an equally exceptional line up of very affordable products called OHNO, with three-foot single-ended Interconnects starting at $229, and with the OHNO III two-and-a-half meter (~8 foot) speaker cables starting at under $625, with shorter versions being even more affordable. This is the series of cables I use in my office system... I assure you, they are AS COMPETITIVE at their price points as the frontRow's are at theirs... YOU MAY wish to check them out. If you do, tell John McDonald I sent you! 😉

    Thank you for interesting informations.
Do you know how much capacity covering [nanofarad/ meter] the front row speaker cable have?

one day I want to try the front row XLR and speaker cables and jumper cables and USB cable. It will be hard giving up my Shunyata Delta V2 power cables though on my Mola Mola's and Lampizator.

it might not be too hard, once you've tried the frontRow ;)

I use Audience Forte F3 power cables for my KEF LS50 Wireless ii's...For the money the Forte F3's can not be touched for a few hundred bucks.

How do they compare to fidelis speaker cables

    • @theaudioanalyst
      @theaudioanalyst  Před 3 lety +2

Hello Cesar. I assume you are referring to the Silversmith Audio Fidelium ribbon speaker cables? Because the Silversmith Fidelium lineup ONLY offered speaker cables at the time I did that review, I had to break my own rules about only reviewing one cable in a full system. When Jeff sends along interconnects (I've no idea if he plans to build specific audio USB, phono, or power cables), I'll offer an update. Until that time, I've elaborated on things as clearly as I can. Till then...

Do you mean the Silversmith Fidelium that the author reviewed?

I have had them all up to the Front Row. The SX series was very disappointing and the Front Row came out soon after. Really liked the Au24 SE for sonics/value

Are you saying you prefer the SE range over the SX ?
If so may i ask why ?
(we are interested in more Audience cables and already own a SE power cord)

Hello Arlene... I'd be happy to help, but...they way your question is phrased, I'm not clear on what you are asking... May I ask for a little more clarity please? Thanks in advance...
