Comparing Jokic to players that aren't playing in his position is just stupid..Not to mention different eras..But, as a center, he is probably in top 3 ever now, there simply is no player at that position that can do what he does, and he has a lot more time to do more..A top 10 player overall for sure, maybe a top 5 player in the future..We shall see..

No, Jokic is a completely different type of player than Lebron. Lebron came into the league dubbed "The Chosen One"... "King James" whereas Jokic was drafted during a Taco Bell commercial, but I digress. What Jokic is doing is breaking a certain stigma about winning in the NBA, like Curry, MJ, Magic, Bird, and Bill Russell before him. Curry- a jump shooting team lead by a small shoot first guard don't win rings; MJ- hyperathletic shoot first guards don't win rings; Magic- 6'9" guys don't play point guard; Bird- Forwards can't be the cornerstone piece of your franchise; Russell- Black people can't lead a team letting alone win a championship; Jokic- centers are dead and can't be playmakers. All statements in hindsight are proven false but incredibly true in the moment.
