😂😊 I’d like to see a video of making charcoal. I love this drawing with charcoal and watercolour. Who would have thought it could look so good.
I'd totally love a video where you make all the art supplies and then make art with it!
Funny timing. I made way too much charcoal this winter. Mostly willow, but some other woods like grape and fruit tree too. Now I'm spending the summer learning how to use it.
Yes please for a video. CZcams doesn't have enough good videos on making drawing charcoal.
Now I'm imagining the tradwives being like "my kids wanted watercolor art for breakfast so I got up early and took the minerals I'd mined that were lying around the house, then ground them with some gum arabic I collected from the trees on our homestead. Then I made paper from our old rags...(etc.)..... And now my kids are enjoying their new art for breakfast :)"
Yes, please a video of DIY art supplies! 🙏
lovely to see you back more now! I've always loved your videos 🥰
I heard that back in the medieval days, to make charcoal people would cut a lot of wood into smaller pieces, put it all in a pile, cover it up with a bunch of dirt leaving a hole at the top for the smoke - kind of like a kiln - burn it, and then wait for all the wood inside to turn into charcoal. Some poor schmucks had to sit and watch over the burning piles to make sure the fire didn’t spread out too much all day and all night. I hope your partner had an easier time with it.
I loved it!!! I have been doing a lot of drawings with crayons in old books because the pressure of digital art being "perfect" was making me feel blocked. Now I draw with the confidence of a child and oh my god, I forgot how fun that is!
Same, I’m just taking a break from digital, pencil on paper just feels better and less nerve wracking
Love the chatty vibe of the video it makes me feel less alone
I was also struggling with trying to make my art perfect so this reminded me to just have fun with it. Now I want to draw these cute guys too :)
So amazing video and painting 😊😊😊
i've always wanted to make charcoal, would be interesting to see if it turned out. Paper making is a lot of fun! sometimes a little messy tho and tends to murder blenders😝
Charcoal video yes please!
I look forward to your future charcoal-making video ❤❤
I’m just saying that if you were to sell your handmade watercolors I’d love to buy them 😭
I love your winged creature. I don't work in the digital space. So I can't offer support there. I do remember watching your hand paint video years ago. I was hoping you would revisit that world from time to time. I would definitely like to see you and your partner make charcoal out of grape vine. You are doing a great job. Keep following your intuition.
love this c:
