  • ( www.abnova.com ) - Clonogenic assay allows one to test the capability of adherent cells to survive and replicate following insult with chemicals or radiation. Count the crystal violet stained colonies which incubated for 9 days with appropriate chemical or radiation dose and calculate the survival rate. More videos at Abnova ( www.abnova.com ).

    Dear Sir/ madam,
I tried this assay performed by user guide (video) but i couldn't get the results, i saw your video the 0.5% crystal solution are not much thickness. when i prepare 0.5% crystal violet solutions are more thickness. I use this crystal violet (C.I.No.42555) microscopy.
Can you please suggest me, where did i wrong whether the solution preparation or cells seeding. how can i get the result ?

Most commonly for mammalian cells, esp cancer cells.
