But they decided to make their own monitor, and they literally killed everything

They really kill the 1080p market
@2ru well I wouldn't say they killed it since everything they manufacture is on the cheaper side and every company uses different panels for the amount of price lol

@@seprex5695 it is 1440p and it's 27" unless you're asking about the curved monitor I had then no, it was 27" with 1080p res
@@ta2b_ I have had it for about 2 months? maybe 3 idk and I have had 0 issues aside form sometimes the color's a bit off but color doesn't matter to me since I'm mostly using it for games
@@vurxuss4474 i mostly use it for games too. I advised this screen for a friend, personnally, i have an asus 280hz IPS, and it works well.
But when i tested the monitor of my friend, the image looks a lot less clear. For example, in league of legends (you can do the test), when you are camera locked, and when you move ur character, you can notice that the moving writing on the top of the character is blurry/shaking, and it leaves a kind of black trail.
My friend doesnt notice, but personnally, i noticed it after few seconds, it was so weird for me. It's playable, but not pleasant...
But the colors were really correct for the price, it wasnt disturbing.
Even if you dont notice it, for less than a second, the previous frame is still on the screen at the same time as the actual frame (but the previous frame is a for sure more cloudy than the current frame and that's why some people dont notice it).
If its your first screen, its maybe normal that you can't notice it.
I don't know if its common for VA pane, or just for this monitor.
Thank you so much for shooting, bro. Very nice!!!
It’s a great monitor. I used it while working out of town to game in a old note bed and breakfast, just had to plug a aux cord from controller to a separate Bluetooth speaker and was happy
The problem with this monitor is when u want 1440p in will only run at 60hz and if you wanted 120hz it will only run at 1080p on an xbox.
That’s only on certain monitors… Get a better HDMI it’ll fix the issue
its because it only does 1440p 144hz with a display port your likely using hdmi
Pretty sure thats just an xbox thing. higher resolutions are harder to render so xbox locks your fps and refresh rate at 60 to give you the best experience. At least thats what my xbox does to my 4k tv.
@@StiffestJunk hdmi only does so much they need display ports to hit 1440p at 120 refresh rate
@@RighteousPretzel you can run 1440p and 120hz on this monitor, I have the exact monitor and an Xbox series s all you need is an adaptor to connect the display port and hdmi to the Xbox

Hey people. Yes this is too good to be true.
You'll enjoy your screen for a bit! I mean.. like 3/4 models have EXTREME ghosting and ALL models will stop working within 9 months of purchase.
Believe me, this happened to me. After checking out some reviews I can see it's the exact same for others.

Don't. Va panels have horrendous pixel response time .
Actually if you get a 60 hz ips you will still have better pixel response time than a va panel at 144hz.. yep it's to that point.
The only thing va panels have for them is when you want to watch a movie or do office task ,thanks to the better Contrast ratio. Yet just because it had factually better Contrast doesn't the color rendition is amazing.

VA gaming monitors are a scam. If you want to play competitively spend a little extra to get an IPS monitor. VA panels are plagued with ghosting/smearing issues making fast movements hard to focus on. Unless you buying a monitor solely for single player cinematic games id advise against VA panels.
Coming from a VA panel owner who plays competitive games.
free sync and overdrive on this monitor almost eliminated all of the ghosting also I'm OW grandmaster (tracer main)

same copy pasted fear mongering bots of the 9+ yrs and going. Lame.
@@noahayoub232 I advise not doing that, any tech like g sync or free sync can eliminate screen tearing and maybe ghosting but it adds input delay for the trade off, again not bad for single player titles but for fps games this is a problem. On the bright side I don’t think it’s noticeable if you never used any other panel type. Coming from a tn panel though even ips has its issues so for me I want to switch back to tn
