Another feature the wired Xbox headset does not have is the Bluetooth to phone feature. Which is a must have for me
I would also recommend to turn down the lights on the controller and Xbox itself. When you play at night it makes a whole lot difference.
Go into the settings and turn on night mode. Your eyes will thank you

dude this is exactly what I did when I had 500$ and no gaming console, I got series s with monitor benq and got mechanical keyboard and mouse and headset and got rechargeable batteries after a while am so happy with ti !!!!

Basically my office setup except I've got a 32" Philips monitor, a Royal Kludge RK68 keyboard, a Logitech G305 mouse and a 4 port USB adaptor for the Series S.
I can run the kb/m wireless or wired and I can also take it on the road with the UpSpec gaming monitor.
Yes it's very Xbox centric but it's great fun

With the wired xbox headset you can't change the levels of bass, highs and all the stuff between that the wireless one can do
You should do a full in-depth review of that monitor if u have the time.

A year or so ago I was having trouble with gaming headsets because none of mine would work but one day my dad came home from work and gave me a present being the Xbox wireless headset and i have it bluetoothed to every device in my house

@@LAZARE0 Of course it's a big problem in shooters like this, or rather a big disadvantage. If you don't want to play in 120hz you don't need to upgrade to a series 🤷

Thanks guys but I did a little more research and I’m getting a gaming pc it’s just better in every way. Xbox games, play station games, maybe Nintendo games and a better work space as well ima keep the one x as well. The gaming pc costs around £654.95 and ima get a Samsung odyssey G6 which has built in speakers and it’s own remote which has a built in system u can use as a Tv. And I got enough saved to buy it. I was gonna buy this budget setup but I was just there to getting something I wanted now I do! By the end of may ima order it bcz that’s when my dad gets his payment.

Controller the monitor doesn’t have a sound processor so plug it into your audio jsck on the controller
Does it need to be wired mouse and keyboard
I have a mouse and keyboard that has those small port that is the same as wired but with out the wire.
Is use that exact monitor with a vesa arm and it work perfectly

Same as my setup. Unable tô get 1440p 120hz. Note that the resolution gets back tô 1080p as soon as He changes the refresh rate.
Yes, I had this monitor, when I used to change resolution to 1440p it used to go back at 60Hz. I had to return the monitor.
The monitor swapped to 1080p when you out Hz to 120

i got my xbox a 144hz monitor and a pre owned pc for only 389 dollars
I’m trying to build my own gaming set up and I think mine is way cheaper mine was around like £150-180 because I got my Xbox free and my keyboard mouse monitor and headset totaled up to 150-180
I think tv setup are the best it’s good for relaxing and enjoying ur game and good for watching CZcams and Netflix but a monitor is good for competitive games and I guess more I’m not rlly a monitor guy I always play with a tv
Correct me if I am wrong.. but it looked as though the monitor only supports 1080p 120hz. It looked as though when u tried to display 1440p it could only run at 60hz.
That is most likely because then monitor is only hdmi 1.4, which only outputs 120hz/fps at 1080p. If you want full 1440p/120hz check for hdmi 2.0 support but your looking at spending $300 plus.
I currently have a xbox one X, i cant afford the series X, but i dont know whether its worth it to upgrade to the series S, as j currently use a 4k 60fps monitor
