- James Charles is annoyed at some fans for showing up at his house. He recently bought a new home in Los Angeles, and uploaded a house tour on his channel. Within a month of settling in, people found his new address and showed up at his house. He never shared his address on his social media, but people somehow managed to find it. He was extremely upset and that's when he shared this video.

Just imagine if you were related to a youtuber and you were at their house with your family for a meal, and all of a sudden two 14 yr old girls start banging on the window whilst you’re all trying to eat shouting “OMG JAMES SISTER JAMES CAN YOU SIGN MY PALETTE?” How uncomfortable would you feel? But then, imagine if you are the youtuber. you sit down to eat or you’re in the shower, going about your daily routine, and suddenly there are people waiting outside your house or knocking on your door or whatever, waiting for you to come out and give them what they want, every. single. day. It is NOT okay! Fans make someone famous yes, they provide that persons income, but famous people are STILL regular people with lives. They are individuals and they do not live only to serve one group of people. If your boss gives you a job they do NOT reserve the right to come over to your house whenever they want and invade your privacy simply because they “gave you a job” and a source of income. It is exactly the same with celebrities. People are right in saying you lose a certain amount of privacy when you become famous but i’m pretty sure being a celebrity does not nullify your human rights.
