Yes, i work 3rd shift. These items are a lifesaver for me, who always eats from home (and also has no other choice on 3rd) Microwaves just don't cut it.

Electric devices that use heat (ovens, heaters, old lamps, heating cables, etc.) use crazy amounts of electric energy, good luck running that on a battery lol... This is why camping stoves and such use gas.
You're right, Kris, it would be perfect for those wanting better portion control. It'd also save a lot off an electric or gas bill! If I wasn't a vegetarian, I'd buy it!
