WARNING, Ryobi quality has gone DOWN and prices UP!
This is third weed eater I've bought within the last four years at Home Depot that doesn't seemingly last a season for regular home yard work. There's either a charger, battery or motor issue. You put a freshly charged battery in the weed eater go to start using it and it dies in 30 seconds. Wait a minute, then try to use it again and the thing continues to have the same issue. It just dies, even though the battery lights are all lit up. Now the one I bought a few weeks ago is doing the same thing! And another thing about this new brushless whisper series. The handle WON'T go on because the bolt was to short, as well as, the guard was a pain to get on. Because it would NOT line up, then when I finally got the two screws to thread in. The screws would NOT tighten all the way down, so the guard is wobbly. Such a waist of money, and now I have to WASTE MY TIME that I'll NEVER get back returning it to home depot. I guess that's what you get when buying chi-na made/sourced products.
DONT BUY THE GREEN LIE FOLKS!!!
