PLEASE keep zane the starter. That awareness will win you games. Redshirt the freshman so he can get his awareness higher and be ready to start if Zane gets drafted

Redshirting a top prospect runs the risk of losing him to the transfer portal. I agree Zane should be the starter though. Keep Newsome as the backup
@@alekino26correct me if I’m wrong but even when you don’t redshirt them I believe you’re still running risk of them transferring.
Yes just have a few tune up games and have the freshman play them so he won’t get discouraged and transfer. Sub him in when you winning big also

Really love the format. Couldve done them episodic just dropping em day after day but making it one big ass video has me watching in multiple sessions and invested
This is what we need. You can make even the most mediocre of players decent if you're good enough. It adds an extra layer of difficulty when you are not in control. I'm going to love this series.

just wanna highlight your editor, doing amazing stuff. I love the little touches like illuminating certain attributes on a player's page when you talk about them
You may already know this but, you can recruit TE and FB to have them be a beast after you switch them.
All my FB's are failed TE's 😂 to be fair, if you catch them with a FB screen in the redzone, and have a TE who has agility and can break tackles, it's a cheat code.
Since this is technically coach mode, you can just hit A to kick the ball and the kicker will kick it based off of his ratings, you don't even need to aim it or anything
As a Wisconsin fan, this is exactly how a game with a top-10 Wisconsin and an unranked opponent would go.

every year you should beef up some of the younger players who are smallish for their position to simulate them bulking up in the weight room during the off season.

I feel like the appeal to your channel is how detail oriented you are with your recruiting and how you make everything into a story that your audience can care about. You not controlling the players doesn’t really take that much away from what you do. Keep it up man. Been one of my favorite channels for the past 7 years

Hey Drewski, like the new vid and dynasty idea...one thing that could be interesting to do, since you're mainly just calling plays...is do manual formation subs, like you got a receiver more suited to be a slot guy in a 3 wr set, you just put him there instead of on the outside like the game usually does...
Got a formation more suited to either a downhill runner than a scat back, formation sub!
Usually it's what ive done in my dynasties ive done in the past to get some guys more reps.
Works on defense too. Slot vs boundary corners, run stuffers vs pass rushers. Cover lbs, etc...
better than having to go into the depth chart 30 times a game

I only ever play EA football this way. It makes recruiting so much more impactful and gives individual players more personality. When I take control it feels more like I'm making clutch plays rather than the players. It's awful they haven't included this mode in madden and I'll be really upset if its not in the new game

I love this coach mode idea, it makes the breakout players feel so natural. The full season in one video is awesome but if its easier on you, you could do like 3 vids per season or so.

Love it! Consider “no scout” and “no low lock cheese” recruiting. You can build in more realism, storylines and character personalities that way. Imagine thinking you got a qb stud just to find out he can’t actually play. Levels the playing field with the cpu. Also prolongs the life of the series.
Your content does a good job of having a growth arc. If I wanted to watch pure dominance I'd just watch Bama or the Patriots. I'm here for the storylines and the yucks. Really enjoyed this episode as I think it highlights everything your channel does best. Plus it's fun to feel like you're one of us watching the games.
I can assure you that if you don't call plays that has your #1 on a drag or In route they get 20 catches per year with the CPU.
how do you set this up where you can audible and such but don’t play?
At team select change mode from regular to coach mode. However in the default game it will be from the broadcast angle. I had to mod the game to force the normal camera angle

Hypothetically, Do you think Serena and Venus Williams in their physical/athletic primes could have success playing high school football? Why or why not?
If it’s high school football, I would say without a doubt. Even if they’re playing in Texas I’d say they’d be decent players, as long as they learn a little bit of how they play their position.

@@OutlawedOutlander no they couldn’t. I play high school football and Serena or Venus could not hang with us. I would lay them out and many others would too.
Trust me there are some HITS even in midget/J high football. They would not be able to handle the physical strain you have to go through.

This is one of the best Dynasty rebuilds I’ve seen. I love the concept because it’s different from any other rebuilds on CZcams and it really makes you a coach all input but no control of the players once the ball is snapped. And it being 3 hours makes it feel like movie. Definitely interested to see where this series goes hope to see season 2 soon

Being mainly a hockey fan, I was pleasantly surprised when this video absolutely captivated me not only in the fact I adore managerial stuff in sports games, but honestly making me even more interested in the sport of football as a whole, I cant wait for the next one!

This mode is cool! I like that it actually depends on the players themselves. Like, their OVR matters so much more when its actually just them playing instead of a user controlling them. Its cool to see who makes plays and who fails under pressure.
Also, the super long video is great! I love these series' so not having to wait for new videos as long is awesome!

I love this series. This is so fun to watch. I feel like this would be what it's like to be a real head coach. All of the outside calls and play calls but once it's on the field the players have to do it. So fun to watch
Like the new format! Didn’t mean to watch in one sitting but it was so entertaining I couldn’t stop. I would go with Zane at QB, he gives you a shot to make a run the next year. Also that Iowas game was one of the best on the channel that I’ve seen

This was by far my favorite mode you have done. I got really invested in the players and those 3 hours flew by. Love this format and the coach mode. Keep it up! I need to see how my boy skizzy turns out. Also I would really consider redshirting Newsome. Great video though
NTE. I loved this new style of game mode. Don’t get me wrong I love to watch you play but this was a change. It gave a new look to the videos and a new look into game play. I couldn’t take my eyes away from the screen I was cheering as loud as possible on my end. Congrats of a pretty good first season. The naty is coming next season.
