I haven’t been able to watch the whole stream or this video yet but just in case this hasn’t been answered yet-
Draft buzz means there is a risk that the recruit you’re going after will go pro instead of committing to a college. The top recruits each year generally have this icon on the bottom left of their portrait in recruiting.
For baserunning you can tell a baserunner to run to a base with the d-pad (this also applies for stealing). You can also tell them to slide with the right stick, and to pick a runner there are icons on the top right hand corner assigned to each baserunner. A rule of thumb is the runner at first is circle, the runner at second is triangle, and the runner at third is square.
R1 is the sprint button on defense so you can get to the ball faster.

Again if you’re fielding and want to throw to a base make sure to hold the analog stick down till the bar around the player hits green
It pains me to watch him overthrow every throw because he just taps the stick

Every outfield throw rolls the last hundred feet and half of his infield throws are errors but somehow he *still* hasn't caught on. It's unreal how slow he can be.

You might already know this, but the throw meter when fielding is an accuracy meter. Hold down the button until your meter reaches the green part of the diamond.
Also, I think it's a known bug that the pitching meter your using restricts pitch velocity. for example, if you have a pitcher with a 99 fastball, it won't go as fast as it's supposed to. Maybe like only 98 or 99 instead of 100 or 101. Maybe try the normal meter?

DREW! When you're in the field throwing to the base, your throw is harder and more accurate if you hold the button until the diamond under your fielder hits the green. You have to let go before it fills all the way up, otherwise you overthrow.

When the bar reaches all the way around the diamond the fielders will throw more accurately. It’s still based on timing so if you can time it where the bars meet at the corner of the diamond that represent the base you are throwing to it will be a more perfect throw

like when games had this function. One pro game had that argument thing and it depended on stats they gave each manager. More hot headed managers would get tossed for going intense and others could get away with more but not full bar

Such a realistic game. Only 1 home run. West Coast baseball is all about small ball. Do whatever it takes to move the runners over. It's not glamorous, but it gets the job done. Especially in Omaha. Rosenblatt was a big field. Even now, TD Ameritrade Park, it's hard to hit a home run.
