- Moll is 27 years old and still lives with her parents, who control her every move. However, they have no idea what their daughter is hiding.

I was expecting Moll to be the serial killer. I mean, she has blackouts, she's unhappy to be the scapegoat of the family, so she has to get out frustration. That would be a great twist.
Thatd be predictable
I expected that as well, but if it turns out like that it wouldn't be a twist at all, cuz many movies did that already.
Right
Me too!!
Too obvious. Predictable.
Defending yourself against bullies isn’t wrong
Exactly
She might not have bullied by her classmate though, we don't know that to be true and Moll has blackouts and fits. When she tried to apologized, the woman didn't seem to understand. Plus, the beating was so bad that her cheek skin was ripped open and scarring her for life.
@terrafletcher1930 Maybe she has a short leash on her emotions, but I think it's implied that she was bullied for most of her life. So, acting like her personality must make her the aggressive one in that school situation is like saying a she-wolf is bad because she bit someone who was teasing her in the forest. Scissors to the face is excessive, sure, but that doesn't mean she wasn't defending herself from emotional pain that leaves bigger scars than the physical one the girl got on her cheek...
@@Nikybeez I've been bullied and I've had excessive injuries that have left me permanently scarred, even my parents make fun of me. But I would rather be bullied than go through that pain again, and if it was a person attacking me that made me this scarred, I would do everything in my power not to leave the house as I would've been beyond traumatized. Having a short leash on your emotions does not excuse hospitalizing a girl who could've done something as simple as ignoring her or not letting her play with them. The only evidence, in this video, of her being bullied is her mom being controlling yet neglectful and unloving. It may be implied by her character, but her character also has trouble distinguishing reality. Just saying that we shouldn't assume Moll was in the right when we have zero facts about what actually happened.
Stabbing them is a bit excessive though.
for everyone thinking it was Mol, it was not her. The killer is actually Pascal, the movie is based on a true story. Mol realizing he is the one who killed “the deceased girl” and others as well after raping them kills him to rid the world of him. The dress she found was the deceased girl in his house she hid it to protect him and to continue her story that she met him in the club.
Got it.
Thanks.
Ohh the dress makes sense!
But didn’t she wake up dishevelled at some stage herself too? It’s like they left some open to interpretation
"Pascal being emotional, sped the car up to a high speed" yeah no
What if it was a woman?

I honestly don't know how a lot of ppl thought that lol was the serial killer....the moment I saw the TV news, and remember when pascal said that... humans should be classified as wild animals... I was like Yep he is the killer 🤷♀️🤣
Okay!!!!! I was like yes she’s crazy but I didn’t think this was a female rage vibe. Love it
I’m 27 years old. I’ve no money and no prospects. I’m already a burden to my parents. And I’m frightened. So don’t judge me, Lizzie. Don’t you dare judge me.
- Charlotte Lucas, Pride and Prejudice (2005)
The girl is clearly the killer. She was such an angry person but kept it all bottled inside her and lead her to kill out of rage. And she found something on her own birthday dress which she hides afterwards. Pascal was just the town's bad boy and he didn't even want to leave town knowing that he's all innocent, but the girl wants to get away from town.
I agree. But one thing we're all forgetting... there's some poor innocent farmer rotting in jail with his reputation ruined. Any family he has would be outcast from a small community like that. Poor man's life is ruined and we all know that whoever was the killer, it wasn't the farmer they arrested
It's also a miscarriage of justice for the families of the murdered. They deserve to know who really killed their loved ones. They have not received justice.
@ImAKangwithnokingdom He probably just didn't want to be alone and they both have traumatic family issues.
@@burtan2000 There is a possibility that the farmer is actually the killer and Pascal's fear is that the cops are aiming to pin it on him because of his past and he doesn't want to be caught poaching. Moll could just be misunderstanding the situation and jumping to conclusions, when she talked to the girl she beat up, the woman didn't look like she knew anything about bullying Moll.
@@burtan2000 outcasting a family out of their native village is one of the worst things to happen in the world.
@Shalalalahh one of the worst things to happen in the world? In the whole world? Lol idk I feel like there are a lot worse things that happen(ed) than just being cast out of a village 😂😂😂
She’s not the killer because the night of the murder she was with the guy from the bar all night…
A 27 year old is, by definition, not a “girl.”
This story feels incomplete to me.
Honestly, kind of love it, I love the confusion it creates and honestly I cried a bit can't even lie
Honestly, who writes honestly twice in one sentence? Honestly.
@@portostrengthunion Honestly fight me I was really emotional and honestly going thru a really hard time ok, honestly
There can only be one crazy in a relationship and she was enough for several.
Preeety sure there can be 2. And.... he picked up a strange girl off a beach and was immediately down to be a part of lying to the cops. Showed up to that girls house the next day; uninvited. oh and... basically threated to kill them both by driving them off a cliff.
No, keep the crazy ones away from nice people.
@@mishynaofficial lol, they always seem nice at first.
I hate how her craziness is the thing you've highlighted like he isn't a serial killer.
@@roelin360 You could start your own thread instead of hating.
Awww. The very end ruined it. I thought they would live happily ever after.
😮
What the actual fuck??? Why would anyone live with a serial rapist?
But he's a murderer. He killed innocent people so he could have probably killed her if he ever got tired of her. He's emotionally unstable and drove near a cliff shortly after they met. And he has abandonment issues.
@@angel-dn6ym SHE is the killer, she found something on her birthday dress and hid it, she had nightmares and in one, she saw she was strangling herself. The guy was only the town's bad boy but she was mentally unstable, making her able to kill people and not remember it or deny it in her mind.
Her white short dress was a giveaway that it never had a chance of happy ending 😬
27 years old give her some room lol
Maybe it’s just the way the recap is but it feels like Moll was the killer
I think that's the way the movies played out to be. I think the only thing that is supposed to point towards it being him is he had that line about how he illegally hunts and he thinks humans should be counted as animals. Otherwise we're supposed to see him as a victim of just how everyone else sees him. Someone who's moved on from a dark past
I think the movie is played where we are supposed to think it's her and the ending is just supposed to show that it can be her now because she has broken through what was holding her back from doing this again
Because that's a whole journey she went on. Where before she was trying to pretend she wasn't that person and she was trying to regret what she had done and at the end she finally admits. She thinks what she did was deserved. The way she thinks killing him is deserved. So now she can go on and be the killer because in her mind she has overcome her reticence to do it and now he was holding her back if he actually was going to be done.
She isn't
I'm a 27 year old girl still expected to obey mine 😭

Wow, thanks for the review. What a weird movie.
Did Pascal actually kill those people? Mal doesn't seem like a reliable narrator.
I looked it up and it says he does kind of confess at that last dinner together, saying “it’s over. They were nothing to me.”
Yes he killed them
Yes.. he did!
I agree. He could have been playing along because he saw how sick she was. In fact, he stated she was sick.
At one point she dreamed she was one strangling those girls.
She definitely is not the most reliable narrator.
No. Moll saw something on her dress and immediately hid it. She was not happy and black sheep. She had nightmares. She wanted to leave town but he wanted to stay showing us that he's innocent. She attempts to kill him. Her sister calls her a savage and she tells Pascal that she was expelled from school for fighting. That's a bit steep of a punishment. She mustve tried to kill the person with a knife or other concealed weapon.
I don't actually think that Pascal was the killer, and why didn't Moll tell anyone about the guy who tried to take advantage of her?
Also Pascal was mad that she lied to the cops and upset that she did that with the belief he was guilty.
Because she's a tease

This was really good!!
I have never seen a shotgun or shotgun ammunition that looked like that
To people who HAVE watched the movie: Pascal was the killer. Like, NO doubt about it. The ending wouldn't make sense otherwise. I can't imagine why you would think he wasn't.
Unless she killed him because she is the killer and she thought he had figured it out and she needed to get rid of him.

@@enrique5850 right?
I think pascal was the serial killer(as he confessed at the end) he killed melisa whose funeral moll attended.
We can also interpret this when pascal saved moll from the guy at the beginning he said he did illegal hunting and jokingly added he should also include humans in his list.
At the end moll killed pascal, she kinda felt attached to the girl he killed (melisa) by attending her funeral, hugging her mother and laying beside the grave. thus she killed pascal for taking innocent lives
Or she did it.
Surely you don't believe this drivel.
I enjoyed the narrator's voice.

I think it’s because she was dating pascal
It seems to me as if the killings are beside the point.
I'll have to watch it now. Based on this plus other commentary, it seems to be a deep dive into relationships and 20th/21st century western culture. Arid social expectation vs the search for connection and the need to be _Seen;_ duty vs passion.
---but taken to the extreme, over the edge of reason.
I think moll is the killer here based on my understanding .
its Pascal
Pascal admits to her that he is guilty in the end. When she says that she already knows he is guilty and that she loves him regardless, he says ‘it’s over. They were nothing to me’.

So why did the one girls mom attack mol. And why did the girl at the store she tried apologizing to freak out?
Because she was dating pascal who was the prime suspect of her daughter's murder. The girl at the store was the victim of Mol's attack in high school.
So why did she have something she secretly hid her dress for? and why did she come home with dirt all over the other time? im lost.
