    Very Nice tank mate, love the set up. It’s very similar to a set up that I have myself in a 450L Tropheus orange band.
    I also use holy rock but I find that also mixing these with dead coral rocks helps raise the PH and provided loads of hiding places for the fry.

      No, I moved from the USA to New Zealand and had to sell them. I no longer have cichlids and am just getting into high-tech planted tanks - CO2 and all that stuff.

    They are from John Oyer, a breeder in Michigan. If you google his name, you might be able to track down his phone number, because John and his wife Betty are full fledged celebrities in the cichlid community. He used to have a web site, but seems to have given up on that some years ago. I think he does wholesale now, plus whatever business comes in via word of mouth.
