I forgot how much I love Leroy. This week brought it all back for me. Ordering bigger turbos this week and sending him further into the 7’s.
Yessssss!!
WHAT SICK
7.5 or 7.4 and heck maybe 7.3 is definitely in Leroy's future
Leroy is also a working clutch!
Yeahhh!!
Big thanks to Cleetus for bringing me on RMRW 2.0 and all of you fans who came out to see us at the tracks! It was a week to remember for sure!
Hopefully it won't be the last!
Dude, you deserve to be there. All the work you put into Cleeter's stuff to make it actually work right, the sage advice, the tuning knowledge. No, thank YOU for accepting Cleeter's invitation. I hope we get to see you again, either Dale truck round 2, or one of your own cars.
@@ngcolby I'd like to see him run one of his cars. Something outrageously fast. LoL
Kevin. Was awesome seeing you run the Dale truck. Now you gotta figure out why the clutches and throwout bearings are dying!
Brother we're all thanking you. We made a pitch for you to drive the Dale truck and you came through. An absolute joy watching these videos of you guys. And dude I give you props for gutting it out with the blasted clutch. You're the man. Thank you.
Can we just take a second to appreciate James being an animal at the tree. His reaction time is almost inhuman.
kshepthedrummer always has been. Nitrous cars live or die by the tree and that first 60’
Wonder what his rt was that time, i knew it was RACE ON when he came up on the brake and bumped in because he hadnt done it all week lol
That man can drive any set up. Maybe put him in Leroy and instant 7s

Such a fun week!! Kevin crushed it driving 320 miles rev matching and getting pushed started!! I loved the fight for 7’s. The best team and best friends!! Thank you all for your support! Living the dream!
Y’all make a great team. We’ve followed since you did the first one! Good job guys.
Just think Fella, Leroy nearly wasn't gonna be there! You are a three time champion along side Cleeter-Bobby and a great friend. Cheers from Australia brother
Let’s gooooo Brent !!!
Were all itching for a pfi entry next year...Lets Go!
Brent you were Awesome mate. Keep up the great content mate. Well done.
Ol cleeter doesn't get enough credit for keeping that car straight. He is wheeling all over the place to keep it pointed down track and it's impressive as hell and terrifying.
It looks like he is riding a bull. Unbelievable driver.
Reminds me of flying across the front yard on a Banshee with a built motor and stock suspension. Not that Leroy is anything like that, just the ride reminds me of it, how he has to actually DRIVE IT. Respect to Cleeter's driving skills.
Cletus might be one of the best drivers of our time. Just gotta wait and see!
@@ericpettyfishing he IS (and imma beat him at his own track lol
I wonder if the bent chassis makes a difference. It looks terrifying and awesome at the same time!
Cleetus before race week: Leroy is gonna fade away as time goes on he's just not meant for this and we keep breaking parts anyway
Cleetus after race week:
WE'RE COMING BACK AND LEROY'S GETTING A SEVEN AVERAGE
He should have asked Leroy what he wanted first. Leroy gets what he wants!
@Santso hell nah leroy can do 7s. I think 7.5 average should be the final goal for leroy
@@walkingonthewildside8860 without a body, of course. I would really like to see a plexiglass body all over Leroy

Dude your race week series is literally the most entertaining stuff on CZcams.
this, cant wait for the next one, i've been through both race weeks 3 times already
That camera view from Ruby shooting out the window at Leroy gives you an idea of the savageness of Leroy once she’s rolling.
Yeah Leroy was ripping by the time he passed Ruby at the line. I mean Ruby is far from slow, to see Leroy gaining on Ruby while she's doing near 150mph is something else.
I can understand Cleetus' whoops of joy after each pass. Riding in Leroy pedal to the metal must be intense as hell! Savage acceleration and it just keeps getting faster.
that officially makes the dale truck a hybrid.
part gas part Leroy power
I came for this comment. Lol
Part gas part electric starter
Takshi69 is that you XD lol jkjk like that hair though fr I thought about doing it but to much money
It's hard to actually understand how fast Leroy is untill you see him litterly freight train ruby on the big end
Im with you on that one... that car is crazy fast...
Right that's what I was saying lol like hotdamn Leroy's got steam
And shifting 3 times
It's pretty fast everywhere, just those powerglides are no joke at the start line.
leroy is on another planet the sound he makes thundering down the track and the bangs and pops you cant help but smile at the beast
Leroy is really the backbone of the team. He came in clutch multiple times during RMRW 2.0. (Pun intended)
Imagine kicking everyone's ass in the 8.0 index with a stick car lmao
And towing a truck at every traffic stop
Well it’s a stick shift class, so they are all stick shifts. And no index, just go as fast as you can. But still, dominated.
Tanner Hedrick what the op and James were saying is that Leroy ran 5 passes on the last day, the average of which would have won him the 8.0 index for NON-stick cars
@@greyhounds72 he meant when james said he checked the leaderboard and leroy when 8.0 4 times in a row which none of the 8.0 index cars had done

Cleeter: "This is probably one of the most ridiculous things we've ever done"
Me: **flashback to a couple of months ago with a jet-ski on Leroy's roof**
Not to mention the side by side on the crown Vic 😂
If Leroy had Ruby’s traction that thing be on another level.
Dan P somewhere in the middle of those two cars huh? Interesting 🧐
Dan P leroy short tracking like ruby would be boringly dominant against any street cars
It’s not traction, it’s drivetrain. They could put identical suspension and tires on both cars and Ruby will always launch better because of her powerglide. But Leroy’s stickshift is one of the key things that makes this car badass, aside from the 427 and twin turbskis 🤪
Could they change the final drive ratio to get rid of one of the shifts? They have a slipper clutch.
Gene Williams where’s the fun in that? I think 4 speed is the minimum in most stick shift classes
I love the pure emotion when he gets that 60 foot 20:35
Legend has it that the tow rig broke down on the way back so Leroy was hitched up and brought them all home.
Hahaha !!!
🤣🤣thats some shit that would not surprise me one bit though.
Lol
This needs to be top comment imo!
@David Colon Leroy is all round savage 💯
"This is probably the most ridiculous thing we did"

How about Brent riding that giraffe.. He's the real legend
You know Leroy finally grew up when he’s the one saving the other cars and not the one being pushed/pulled around with broken parts
Ruby is fast af, but Leroy is a whole different animal. Look at how hard Leroy pulls on Ruby.
Leroy is a turd out of the hole, but is absolutely unreal once he hits third and fourth. Ruby needs another turbski, she runs out of steam on the top end.
Leroy needs aero
He needs to launch Leroy a little bit harder and he’d be SMOKIN the 7’s
@@itchyprince3793 He can't launch it really any harder because of his tire choice. They purposely run those tires to take stress off the driveline because its a manual. If he used the same tires as ruby they could set up their slipper clutch differently and launch harder but at the risk of potentially breaking parts.
Jeremy thanks for the clarification. I was wrong. You were right. Thanks again for the additional knowledge you’ve so graciously provided to me.
The fact that you touched that bald eagle switch in Leroy on the same strip of pavement I spent years racing on is insane. Touch’s my heart.
