This man is speaking on behalf of the rich because all these laws doesn’t apply to the poor. Go to police stations, you will plenty voiceless innocent people there. Just imagine police or EFCC inviting ordinary citizen for questioning and refuses to show up.

It appears that a significant portion of Nigeria's legal representatives are opposing the EFCC's actions against Yaya Bello, despite the fact that they should be advocating for the best interests of the public. WHAT A COUNTRY!

Justice in Nigeria only affect the poor and the opposition party 😢 in Government, very pathetic, we were told in school that, no one is above the law but, what we are seeing in Yahaya Bello's case is embarrassing where security agencies cannot apprehend him up till date 😭

If only that supposed former Ecowas member in the studio knows that there is a difference between law and justice... He would not be talking technicalities in matters of criminality

Efcc should be more concerned about pushing bills, proposals about creating systems that could prevent this kind of theft from occurring instead of engaging in media trials with less than 10% probability in conviction. If those systems are in place there would not be need for all this. We know the solution they are not rocket science.

An average Nigerian does not believe in the dispensation of justice in Nigeria. All the big men and politicians like this man always say " Go to the Court" Why condemn EFCC that has gone ahead to expose fraud and corruption. We are happy with the method applied by EFCC and hope this will continue. I can understand the frustration of the EFCC in prosecution of corrupt public office holders in an allegedly Corrupt Judicial environment.

With my understanding, based on your analysis, there's no need for EFCC existence. The Police and the Ministry of Justice are enough, because our administrative systems are from the West

Seun. Your Professor of law needs to understand that there's a big difference between a nation and a forest.
Laws are respected in a civilized country while jungle justice is respected in the forest.
Nigeria is nothing but a thick forest.
The Nigerian judiciary is a disgrace and that's why law enforcement agencies fight inside and out court houses.
Sometimes the judges run for their lives.
Yaya Bello is hiding in Bola Tinubu's boys quarter in Aso Rock.

This man is only carrying heavy qualification for nothing. He doesn't know anything. In a criminal matter a suspect is first invited by law enforcement agency for questioning, interrogation
and interaction. If found wanting he is then taken to court. The law enforcement agencies have the prerogative to take any criminal matter to court or not. It's only in civil matter that you heard straight to court and in that case you may not need a prosecutor. But in a criminal case there must be a law enforcement agent to prosecute the person called 'suspect. Law enforcement officer much filter some criminal matters through interrogation and in process of interrogation other suspects link to the crime might be uncovered, invited and if need be charged alongside. It's unfortunate a professor is saying all these. May Almighty God help us.
