Yeah, they have done a way better job in designing, bought the interior and exterior, than the previous model. Can't wait to see the video with the golf 8 variant too, when they'll finaly lunch it.

Ein rein optischer Test, ohne dummes Gelaber.......aber mit gutem unverfälschtem Dieselsound.👍.
Einfach, aber gut gemacht.
Lediglich die Außenaufnahmen vom stehenden Auto hättest vielleicht im Busch oder einer ruhigen Ecke machen sollen.
Man könnte denken, die Motorengeräusche vom laufenden Bus gehören zum Octi.......😁
Ich fahre den 2011er Octi Kombi mit 140 PS ........ einfach nur gut.
Mich würde interessieren, ob man beim neuen DSG und den Schaltpaddel am Lenkrad, manuell schalten kann wie ich es für richtig halte......oder greift die Elektronik dort auch ein?
Immer vom normalen Drehzahlbereich ausgehend.

Considering it is using only 5 liters of fuel at 140 km/h, that is a ~900 km range on the highway. Why would you need more?

Next passat generation will be 100% sure small tank, because of strict EU rule for car manufacturers, thats why lots car gets smaller engines and smaller tank for better wltp fuel consumption. So mr11esse you should complain EU politics for this rule, not car manufacturers, the car manufacturers have now hard time for develope/making cars.

The fuel economy is crazy good - and this is a station wagon. It would be even better with the same engine in the sedan. The only regret: With the diesel engine this car comes only equipped with the 7-speed DSG, which is expensive. Why is there no option for a manual transmission + diesel engine?
