Guys really, objectively this car is awesome, the performance are very good to have fun the weekend and the fuel economy is very nice so you can use it everyday as daily driver (even more practical if it's the estate version). If I am a young dad like 28 years old and can spent that much on a car I would for sure buy this because it combine pleasure and practicality. Even the older one is nice
And now imagine my stock honda civic with 184hp vtec and multilink suspension. Would beat the shit out of this expensive crap.

@@reevedread5530 you wish. I’m no skoda fan, but to be honest this would beat your Honda easily. Probably 2 seconds of 1-100 advantage. It also has multi link suspension in this trim level.

Have the same car but TDI 200ps, I have seen 251 on the speedo once. Funny enough it "sounds" the same as the TSI... I turned all that junk off. Decent car, likes oil...

@@DrBeast100 well it's a VAG engine, so I am not surprised. I carry at least one bottle of oil in the trunk. It needed 1L at 6k km.

@@DrBeast100 car was delivered in June. At the end of this month it should have about 12k km, there is a 2nd bottle of oil in the trunk. Not impressed with the car at 50k Euro.

Ist der skoda octavia rs schneller als ein BMW f10 530d mit 258ps?

Maybe, BMW is heavier (300-400kg) than Skoda.
Der 530er hat mehr Hubraum, wiegt aber auch mehr. Denke, dass der Skoda schneller wegkommt, der BMW aber schnell aufholen kann und wird. Wäre ein spannendes Rennen.
TDi with 200 hp better ?
I own the TDI and I like it more. More NM and less fuel consumption. It is a great one. The fastest I went were 259km/h
Had a TDI for 6mo and just switched to a manual RS Plus. I must say that the manual really seems much faster than the DSG in the video especially from 200-240 in 5th gear. Not sure what the vmax on the manual is, because I have winter tires and they are limited to 240. TDI really took a long time from 230-253 (my fastest). Two completely different engines.
My tdi with 184hp finished downhill at 235. my tsi with 245hp finished downhill at 260.

I had an audi a5 3.0 tdi with 295Ps. It was really nice to drive. But there was one big point driving it 250kmh. The brakes! They were like shit! I think with this car you have the same isue.
It seem your brake is no more good, maybe need new brake disc. At normal condition should be not shaking.
Thats not the point. this brake is clearly far too weak for the weight and strength of the car.

Wozu braucht man jetzt noch gleich die 310 PS Maschine??? Die 310 PS gehen nicht wirklich besser im Alltag auf der Bahn hat man da keinen merklichen Vorteil beim Durchzug, das ist irgendwie lächerlich der Unterschied.

Eines wird deutlich, der Skoda hat kein Überholprestige. Wenn ich mit meiner C-Klasse oder der E-Klasse fahre, machen alle freiwillig platz, und das ohne zu nötigen oder zu rasen. Im Rückspiegel ist der Skoda für die meisten schlicht kein Fahrzeug welches man vorbeilassen will. Obwohl der gut im Futter steht.
